1988.5 Ford Escort EXP 1.9L CFI 2 Door, 2 or 5 seater coupe.
I noticed there are very few video's on what a Ford Escort EXP is. This is
the second generation model and the last one they came out with. The 88.5's
are all Luxury Sport Coupe's but it doesn't say that anywhere on the car. I
got mine from the original owner in 2012 and he had bought the backseat for
it when he had kids a few years after he bought the car. It came standard
with Fog Lights but when I bought it one was missing and wiring was burnt
up so I just ripped it all out. I might get another set one day for it to
keep it close to original. The only things that aren't original on it are
the air box cover that I painted Ford blue, and the Stereo system. Its
basicly an Escort that they came out with in the 80's to appeal to the
younger crowd. At the time the only other 2 seater car was the Thunderbird
and they wanted to replace the Mustang with this front wheel drive
style car. Once Mustang
owners found out they were trying to switch to a FWD car they lost it and
Ford quickly stopped the EXP. They had already spent so much money on the
project they came out with the Probe for a while and then that was dropped
completely and the Mustang
lived on! If you drive it by the shift indicator light on the gauge cluster
you will get stupid good fuel economy and shift it at 2,000rpm. If you
drive it a little harder and shift it at 3,000 it will get some... for a 4
cylinder... When these cars were new they were advertised at 44 Miles per
gallon. The tank is 40 Litres and I can get 600km if I fill it at 1/4 tank.
1987 ford escort ---------- new car maybe?
well this car was a great deal and i hope it works out. although it looks
pretty bad, being beat to heck and what not, most things from a mechanical
standpoint are fine or easily fixed. really there are only 2 problems 1 the
back passenger side brake needs a new wheel cylinder in which the previous
owner had and threw in and 2 which it the possible deal breaker......... it
has a bad rust spot near the rear passenger shock absorber, that will be
shown at the end of the vid. If that is going to cause a structural
failure, well i might have to sell it off to. I know i told most of you i
wanted a 1980's Mr2 but not a single one came up and i simply need a car to
get to school and back. it not i mean i do like the car it just a mater of
that rust spot. well as always tell me what you think. :3

One badass bird! This 1968 Ford Falcon running on 275 Drag Radials lays
down around 2600hp through its 449ci Small Block Ford with a pair of 88mm
turbos, watch it tear down the track at
the North Star Dragaway x275 race.
1992 Ford F-250 3/4 ton 7.3 Navistar Diesel
Our Ford pick up "Big Red" as we call it. Dad bought it in 1997 from the
original dealer that sold it new to the original owner new who later traded
it back in. It's been a great truck and is in great condition for its age
and considering most of these have been worked hard thru the years and
ragged out or rusted out.

Ford EXP 400M
First run on Alky and worst run of the day. Found later that it had a
massive high pressure fuel leak due to a split feed line. Should be more in
