Rather than stuffing the car full of big power upgrades D3 and Team
Heavyweight Racing decided to focus on efficiency and opted to install the
full line of D3 ULTRACOOLERS including the D3 Intercooler, the D3 Competition
Radiator, the D3 Transmission Cooler, & the D3 Differential Cooler allowing
the sedan to run hard and strong and allowing it to perform without heat
soak lap after lap after lap...
A great deal of attention has been given to the Chassis & Suspension tuning
of this V Sedan. The D3 Competition Springs, D3 Competition Sway Bars and
the D3 Chassis Bracing has been all been installed - when combined with the
ALCON Racing 2pc Rotors and Porterfield R4 Brake Pads the CTS-V can dive
into the corner and recover from the turns as quickly as cars half its
Power has been upgraded via simple bot on performance products including
the D3 Air Intake, D3 Throttle Body, Kooks Headers + Kooks X-Pipe and Corsa
Touring Exhaust. Combined with the
cooling and efficiency upgrades this car CTS-V can now rocket out of turns
and run flat out on the straights with no flow restrictions.
The result is an ultra-competitive CTV-V Sedan that has already placed
second in points in the Redline Time Attack in 2010. We look forward to

hearts of many enthusiasts. And so we took extra special care when
designing our Cadillac CTS-V Coupe performance Exhaust system by Billy Boat. In fact, Billy
Boat Performance Exhaust has been
setting the pace for high performance stainless steel Exhaust systems for 20 years now. B&B applies
its deep racing heritage to craft one of the finest Exhaust systems available. Continuing in that
tradition B&B has recently introduced a line of Exhaust systems for the new 2011 Cadillac CTS-V
CNC mandrel bent T304 stainless steel tubing is used throughout the entire
system for a precise fit. The system uses a hand fabricated x-pipe that
helps balance the Exhaust pulses for
better scavenging and a cleaner Exhaust note.
B&B has designed a muffler specifically for the CTS-V Coupe using their
proprietary Purge Resonance Technology or PRT. Hand fabricated out of T304
stainless steel the muffler offers increased Exhaust flow and emits a nice deep muscle car
bark at idle, acceleration and cruising speeds while all but eliminating
the unwanted in-cabin, low frequency resonation.
For aesthetics Billy Boat Performance Exhaust incorporated a new 5" oval double wall
tips to give the V a mean yet distinguishing look missing from the factory.
The tips are fully polished to a mirror like finish and the rest of the
system is finished in the new Billy Boat brush finish. As with all Billy
Boat Performance Exhaust systems it is
backed with a limited LIFETIME warranty.
