Chevy HHR + Wood = modern day woody
We once had a client with a wild idea, to buy a brand new car and bring it to the shop so we could woody it. Nonsense! we told him. But he would'nt hear it. We tried to steer him away to other shops, but no one else bit. Even though I thought it was a terrible idea, at the same time I knew it would be a feather in my cap if we could pull it off. It turned out to be a maddening project, nearly every piece had to be steam bent. We had to have the doors tweaked to create clearance for the wood. I'ts been on the road for 3-1/2 years now, and has been back once after a crash, and a few times for varnishing. I'm surprised how well its holding up.

Chevy HHR Air Filter / Engine Cover Removal and Replacement Ecotec
This video is a small explanation of how to remove and change the air filter, and remove the engine cover on a 2009 Chevrolet HHR with the 2.2 Ecotec engine. I believe it's the same for the 2.4 Ecotec as well. I made this video for those who didn't know how. It's not hard at all, but it's just an awkward placement of the filter and some may not be able to find it or know how to remove the cover. This car has 29,600 miles on it and the filter was original. It didn't look too bad at all, but it was very dusty. Probably needs to be changed.
