On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago convinces Mazda to hand him the
keys to the only left-hand drive RX-7 Spirit R in the world. After a quick
look underneath the car, Carlos hits the winding road to explore the
involving driving experience and rotary engine that made the Mazda RX-7 so
unique, as well as its connection to the new generation of lightweight,
rear-wheel drive coupes like the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S.

Mazda RX-7 Spitting Huge Flames from Exhaust!
When I was driving back from an event, this turbocharged Mazda RX-7 FD3S passed me in a
tunnel. As you can see this tuned Mazda RX-7 FD3S was spitting some huge
flames from the Exhaust! Hate it or
love it, I really enjoyed it! :)

First 9-second LPG pass - Tunnel Vision (2006)
(Please note this video is from August 2006)
Jason Ghiller's Tunnel Vision built XE ESP has become the first car in
Australia to run a 9-second pass on LPG pump fuel. The turbo 4.0-litre ran a first up pass of 10.18
before going 10.01/133 and then 9.97/132 (1.52 60ft, 110.81mph mid track).
The XE was also the first LP Gas powered vehicle to run a 10-second pass
just a few years ago. Even more impressive is the fact the car was driven
to the track and home again.
