motorguru.com - Dodge Viper Factory Tour (host: Justin Bell)
motorguru's Justin Bell, world champion Viper factory driver, visits the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant in Detroit where each 600 horsepower Dodge Viper is hand assembled with pride - one vehicle at a time. (See the complete Dodge Viper SRT10 video car at http://motorguru.com/video.html?v=40 ) motorguru's Justin Bell has a long history with Viper including being part of the factory Oreca Viper Team, winning the 1997 GT2 World Drivers Championship and the 1998 Le Mans 24 Hour race in the same category. Visiting the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant was somewhat of a homecoming for Justin and the team at motorguru. This motorFEATURE video is a story that motorguru.com has wanted to tell for some time. Conner Ave. is not at all a typical automated factory. Each Viper is hand assembled with unbelievable dedication from long-time craftsmen and craftswomen who take great pride in their work. Only seven to eight Vipers are produced each day in a straight line assembly line totally just over 700 feet long. Viper fans and owners know well the story and history of Conner Ave. Experience with motorguru.com perhaps the best of what Detroit has to offer.

2013 SRT Viper vs 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series! - Head 2 Head Ep. 36
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Motor Trend's Jonny Lieberman pits two members of the "more than 600 horsepower club" against each other - the 2013 SRT Viper & the 2014 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series. It's a three-bout heavyweight match that begins with real world canyon carving, moves on to an all-out quarter mile drag race, and then finishes with blistering hot laps around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca with hot shoe Randy Pobst. Despite a huge gap in price, both of these long-nosed, front-engine, RWD, two-seat brawlers represent significant revisions of their wild predecessors. Will good old fashion American muscle beat out German Engineering? Join us as we find out. Head 2 Head appears every other Wednesday on the Motor Trend channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! http://www.youtube.com/subscription_c...
