Good Guys AutoCross - Lone Star Nationals

Goodguys autocross event held on saturday october 1st at Texas Motor Speedway. This is my first time filming something like this so yeah far from perfect. I have to get used to follow focusing. And I don't have my external microphone yet. You can hear some noise in the audio and I think this is due to the camera overheating!

Goodguys Muscle Car Autocross at Del Mar Nationals 2012
The Hotchkis-equipped cars of the H-Team were out in full force at the 2012 Good Guys Del Mar Nationals. Mary Pozzi took an early lead and started off a dramatic H-Team battle with R&D Engineer Aaron Ogawa. Who won? You'll have to watch the video and see. What will come as no surprise is that the Hotchkis C-10 trucks proved once and for all that trucks can be just as fast - if not faster - than muscle cars when set up correctly and driven with skill. Other H-Team highlights included Capt. Tommy Wisdom (USMC) in his Dodge Dart, "Sally," which was recently rebuilt by DTM Racing with a Hotchkis TVS, NewGen "Lite" wheels and Falken Azenis 615K rubber. In its Goodguys autocross debut, the car did exceptionally well. Greg Hohman brought his beautiful blue '71 Chevelle SS out to play on Saturday and made some passes as well. Good friend and H-Team Charter Member Dick Etchison drove all the way down from the four corners area of Colorado in his "crew cab" Chevelle, and got his times down into the low 33s. Brandy and Mike Morrow from the Spectre Performance team brought out the company's stunning wide-body Carbon Camaro, featuring LS1 power, massive Forgeline wheels tucked under IMSA style fender flares and a bevy of Hotchkis suspension components. Del Mar also saw two new H-Team members on the field, both in stunning first gen Camaros with very different powerplants. Rodney Prouty's '68 Camaro and Robert Hall's '68, in this case a black convertible that emits a truly spine-tingling roar out the tailpipes. Built by H-Team member Rob Phillips in his PCH Rods shop, Robert's Camaro ragtop features a complete Hotchkis TVS and is powered by a supercharged LSA from a Cadillac CTS-V, essentially a Caddy version of a ZR1 engine.

Oldies But Goodies - Good Guys
Various close up shots of vintage american cars. Footage is from the good guys lone star nationals. Which is a carshow for pre '72 enthusiasts. Though this video is mostly 30's-50's dated cars. Muscles cars are well represented here. Check out of my autocross and Gotta Love that sound videos. In the spring I will have a better tripod and hopefully some sliders so no more jerky shots. Plus i'll have to practice follow focusing more. The rights to all music belong to their respectful owners.

The H-Team Dominates GoodGuys Costa Mesa Autocross
Hotchkis Performance's H-Team dominated the 2010 GoodGuys Orange County Get Together autocross, with nearly a dozen cars, the first Mopar event win, the first three-class sweep, the first 2010 Camaro in GG competition and the first 3-car Mopar team. Plus our new C10 Chevy Pickup handles like a slot car in its second autocross competition.

Hotchkis Sport Suspension ULTIMATE C-10 Pickup Truck
For the ultimate handling 67-72 C-10 Pickup, nothing beats the Hotchkis Sport Suspension. Hotchkis parts are rigorously designed and tested on the track, yet very comfortable for your local cruise in. Every aspect of the C-10 suspension has been re engineered for the maximum performance and is being offered both in a complete tuned package or individual components. In front we start out with Tubular Upper and Lower Control Arms which extend the wheelbase 1.8" and increase caster alignment up to +9°. The camber curve is improved, and bump steer is corrected with a new center link assembly and heavy duty tie rod sleeves. 4" front sport lowering springs, and a 1 7/16" front sway bar reduce body roll and control the bumps along with the Hotchkis Tuned/Bilstein shocks and shock relocator brackets. The rear of the truck gets an adjustable full length track bar set up, an adjustable anti squat bracket system improving the trucks instant center for maximum traction. 6" rear sport lowering springs and a ¾" blade style sway bar reduce body roll, while shock relocators, and the Hotchkis Tuned Bilstein shocks effectively control suspension dampening. This system is a proven autocross winner and designed for maximum performance improvement in a installer friendly kit. PROUDLY MADE IN THE USA For more, visit www.Hotchkis.net

Mitch Allread: Don't Call it a Rat Rod... - /BIG MUSCLE
It packs a 400 hp diesel out of a Ford F-350, a Dana 80 rear-end, and a look and feel that would make Max Rockatansky feel right at home. This is Mitch Allread's custom fabricated creation and it is, without a doubt, one of the coolest things on the road today. This is a machine that transcends the traditional hot rod formula by breaking down borders and setting its own stage. Whereas most hot-rods are built by custom shops utilizing parts from mail order catalogs, Mitch took a different approach and fabricated just about everything on his ride by hand. Calling this a rat-rod would be an insult - a work of art however... that'd be just fine.
