Nissan 370Z review - CarBuyer

Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/nissan/370z/coupe/review The Nissan 370Z is a performance bargain, but its heavyweight controls won't be to everyone's tastes. The rear-wheel-drive Nissan 370Z outguns rivals like the Porsche Cayman and Audi TT with impressive performance for the price. It's powered by a 322bhp 3.7-litre V6, and manages 0-62mph in 5.3 seconds -- so its performance comfortably matches its extrovert looks. A driving enthusiasts' car, the 370Z demands skill and commitment, yet it's not so brawny that it's a difficult or intimidating car to drive. Recently updated with a 'GT' special edition that got a range of updates designed to make it more comfortable and refined, with revised suspension and more kit.

Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S) review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/toyota/gt-86/coupe/review The Toyota GT86 has been charged with injecting a little excitement into the Japanese brand's dull and dependable image. Developed in partnership with Subaru, the rear-wheel drive coupe promises to mix driving fun with great value for money. The GT 86 is priced at around £25,000, and is aimed squarely at entry-level versions of the evergreen Audi TT. While the Toyota isn't as attractive as the sleek Audi or muscular Nissan 370Z, it still has the ability to turn heads. And what the interior lacks in quality and cutting edge design, it more than makes up for with generous standard kit. But the GT86 is car that demands to be driven rather than looked at. Sharp and engaging handling, a characterful 2.0-litre flat four petrol engine and strong brakes help make the Toyota a number one choice for back road blasts. Porsche 911 (991) review - CarBuyer
Read the full review here: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/porsche/911/coupe/review One of the longest running sports cars in existence, the latest Porsche 911- code-named the 991, will go on sale in the UK from December 2011. Featuring a lower roof, more bulbous headlights and sharper tail-lights the front track is also wider, improving handling. The engines have received several tweaks too. The standard Carrera's 3.6-litre flat six cylinder engine is replaced by a smaller 3.4 that is more efficient but produces more power, at 345bhp. The 3.8-litre found in the Carrera S now produces 394bhp. Performance when fitted with the PDK twin-clutch gearbox and optional Sport Chrono Pack is very impressive. The standard Carrera sprints from 0-62mph in 4.4 seconds whilst the Carrera S can nail the benchmark in just 4.1 seconds. The interior has received a major makeover that is inspired by the Panamera, but with fewer switches. Most owners will opt for the PDK gearbox but Porsche also offer a seven-speed manual option - the first of it's kind in a production car.

Mercedes SL-Class review - CarBuyer
To all our loyal YouTube subscribers, you may have noticed this is our 200th upload. We thought you'd like to see a nice new Mercedes, so we chose to review the SL for this landmark moment. Thanks for all your support over the last 200 videos. Lots of love, Mat and Rebecca For full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/mercedes/sl_class/cabriolet/review The Mercedes SL is a convertible two-seater sports car with a focus on comfort over handling. It does a fantastic job of it though. The latest Mercedes SL cabriolet is all-new. The suble styling updates hide a state-of-the-art aluminium bodyshell and a choice of two powerful V8 engines with 429bhp and 530bhp, or a 3.5-litre V6 with 302bhp. Lighter, faster and more fuel efficient than the previous model, the 2012 Mercedes SL is also sharper to drive. Equipment levels are also very impressive but be prepared to pay a high price for all this technology. The flagship model is called the SL63 AMG. It features a huge 5.5-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that offers supercar levels of performance. Ford Grand C-MAX review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/ford/c_max/grand-mini-mpv/review The seven-seater Grand C-MAX could well be the best handling car in this segment and with its fantastic, practical interior, could even be the best car in its class. Like the five-seater C-MAX, the Grand offers buyers the kind of handling you'd expect from a much smaller car. On top of that, the interior boasts an intuitive layout and build quality is among the best in class. The diesel engines offer a fantastic blend of performance and economy, while the EcoBoost turbocharged petrol engines are quiet and punchy.

Ford Ranger review - CarBuyer
Full review here: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/ford/ranger/sports-utility-vehicle/review The Ford Ranger is now in its third generation and this latest model is designed to offer the most car-like driving experience yet, without compromising the Ranger's load-carrying or off-road abilities. There are plenty of body style choices, a good choice of engines and the Ranger even looks pretty good too. Bentley Continental GT Speed review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/bentley/continental/coupe/review The Bentley Continental GT is a stylish, luxury performance car that is designed to carry up to four people in supreme comfort at speeds of up to 200mph. Boasting sharper styling, and with a considerable weight saving, the second generation Bentley Continental GT has slightly better fuel consumption and lower emissions than the outgoing model. The luxury interior maintains a sporting theme combining hand-crafted wood, leather and aluminium. The GT comes with a choice of two engines, a tweaked version of the proven twin-turbo 6.0-litre W12 unit, which is available in the standard GT and the even more powerful GT Speed. Then there's a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 that returns combined economy of 27mpg - 10mpg more than the W12. Driving all four wheels through a six or eight speed automatic gearbox, performance is very impressive. Competition comes in the form of Aston Martin's Virage and the Ferrari California. Mazda3 MPS review - CarBuyer
Read the full review here: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/mazda/mazda3/mps-hatchback/review The Mazda3 MPS is the high-performance version of the excellent Mazda3 hatchback. Powered by a 256bhp turbocharged 2.3-litre engine and featuring a wild-looking bodykit and upgraded suspension, the 3 MPS has been designed to rival the Ford Focus ST and VW Golf GTI. A great-value price and plenty of standard equipment means the Mazda represents excellent value for money. However, it's not as fun to drive as the Ford, while high running costs offset the attractive price. Toyota Land Cruiser review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/toyota/landcruiser/sports-utility-vehicle/review Mighty off road ability and total mechanical dependability make the Land Cruiser a top choice for anyone considering a journey to the ends of the earth. However, it lacks the comfort and versatility of rivals like the Land Rover Discovery 4. Tonka-toy looks and incredible mechanical toughness make the Land Cruiser a popular choice for drivers who are planning big adventures off-road. If it's gadgets galore you're after, though, you won't be disappointed, as the cabin is well equipped, with satellite navigation, air-conditioning and electric windows standard on top-specification models. Inside, the interior looks and feels a little dated, but at least there's a new dashboard that gathers together all those easy to use controls in a smart looking fashion. Chunky indicator stalks and heater controls are in keeping with the car's no-nonsense image.

Volkswagen Polo GTI review - CarBuyer
Full review at: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/volkswagen/polo/gti-hatchback/review Climb inside the Volkswagen Polo GTI and you could easily mistake it for a Golf GTI, such is the upmarket feel of the cabin. Build quality is exceptionally high for a supermini and the cockpit is loaded with technology. Mounted on the back of the steering wheel, twin paddles operate the seven-speed dual clutch gearbox and VW's clever traction control system sorts out the handling in sharp corners. The Polo GTI is a very desirable supermini but shares it's running gear with the cheaper Skoda Fabia vRS and SEAT Ibiza CUPRA, both offering similar specifications for less money. Under the bonnet the Polo GTI has a 1.4 TSI litre petrol engine which is both supercharged and turbocharged helping to provide impressive pace across the rev range without harming fuel consumption. Producing 178bhp, it catapults the Polo GTI from 0-62mph in a brisk 6.9 seconds. Porsche Boxster review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/porsche/boxster/roadster/review The Porsche Boxster sets the standard in the small roadster class, as it's sharper and more enjoyable to drive than rivals such as the BMW Z4, Mercedes SLK and Nissan 370Z. The powerful flat-six-cylinder engines are mid-mounted, which makes the handling sharp, while the interior --inspired by the larger Porsche 911 -- is modern, upmarket and thoughtfully laid out. This entry point to Porsche ownership is arguably the best all-rounder in Porsche's range, and is available in standard 2.7-litre Boxster and 3.4-litre Boxster S guises. The fabric roof folds down in nine seconds, while a pair of luggage areas in the front and rear make it pretty practical for a sports car. Roof up, the interior is quiet, but the stiff suspension reminds you that you're driving a pure sports car. Fiat 500C review - CarBuyer
On first sight of the Fiat 500, you could be forgiven for thinking you had stepped back in time... Fiat's recreation of its famous 1960s city car is so faithful; you really can park the new and old models next to each other and compare like for like. Following on from the massive success of the 500 hatchback, Fiat wasted no time in removing the roof to create the diminutive 500C cabriolet. It's not a true convertible, though, as only the centre section of the roof folds down, and the window frames on either side remain in place. The range of small and cheap to run petrol and diesel engines from the hatchback is carried over, and unsurprisingly the 500C drives similarly to the hatchback, with light and easy controls. The same cute, retro looks are a big part of the appeal, and a big selling point for the 500.

Mercedes M-Class review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/mercedes/m_class/sports-utility-vehicle/review The latest generation of the Mercedes M-Class was introduced in late 2011 as Mercedes lifted its game against rivals that have emerged in the decade since it spawned this segment: the Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5. The M-Class is nearly four-metres long and has a massive load area, regardless of which of model you choose. The ML 250 starts the range with a 202bhp 2.1-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel, then there's the volume-selling ML 350 with its 255bhp V6 turbodiesel. If it's power you're after rather than efficiency, there's the ML 63 AMG complete with 518bhp 5.5-litre twin turbo V8 -- the most powerful Mercedes 4x4 ever sold. All offer luxurious equipment levels, fit and finish as well as an imposing road presence.

Peugeot RCZ review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/peugeot/rcz/coupe/review With its supercar good looks and competitive price, the Peugeot RCZ is a real head-turner. But the most satisfying things about this Audi TT rival are that it's fun to drive, comfortable and relatively cheap to run. Up front it feels spacious, and the boot is a reasonable size, so it's easy to live with day-to-day. It's a 2+2 coupé by name, but you can forget about using the back seats for anyone but small children as they're tiny.

Hyundai Santa Fe review - CarBuyer
Read the review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/hyundai/santa-fe/suv/review Apologies for the re-upload... there was an error in the previous version. The latest Hyundai Santa Fe is a huge step forward from the car it replaces, both in terms of design and interior quality. However, it comes with a price to match, stretching Hyundai's reputation for offering value for money further than any car it has ever released before. The five-year warranty package remains, as does the powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine, but the Santa Fe now costs a similar amount to Honda's new CR-V. Volvo V40 review - CarBuyer
Full review: http://www.carbuyer.co.uk/reviews/volvo/v40/hatchback/review The Volvo V40 means that Volvo finally has a five-door hatch to take on the BMW 1 Series, Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz A Class. Despite its estate looks, it's an all-new premium hatch that replaces both the S40 saloon and V50 estate.
