2012 Dodge Challenger R/T Test Drive & Car Review

http://www.autobytel.com/dodge/challenger/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T is one good looking automobile and this muscle car exudes a road presence unmatched by the Mustang or Camaro. Outside the Challenger has remained true to its heritage with nice broad shoulders and retro front end. The Challenger R/T has a base price of just under $30k but offers the best deal of the bunch. The base V-6 model costs $25k ($5k less) but with the R/T model you get the 5.7 HEMI V-8 engine that produces 410 horsepower and 400 lb-ft. of torque. The Challenger SRT-8 is almost $14k more than the R/T. The 2012 Dodge Challenger R/T gets 15 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway but you do not buy a muscle car for its gas mileage. The Challenger is built on the Chrysler 300 chassis which is why it has the most comfortable ride of all the new muscle cars that are currently for sale. 2012 Dodge Charger Test Drive & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/dodge/charger/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Dodge Charge represents the second generation and with it comes a nice facelift. The 2012 Charger has a much better looking front end including cool headlights and grille. The car looks sleeker and meaner compared to the previous model. The suspension has been completely reworked. In fact the 2012 Dodge Charger is essentially brand new from the ground up. When you opt for the more expensive Charger models, you get a nice big Hemi engine and cool appearance package that includes gigantic 20 inch chrome rims. The 2012 Dodge Charger is a real muscle car that sports a V-8 engine and RWD. Now there are 3 different trim levels and the base model costs $29,496. This SE model comes with a 3.6 liter V-6 that makes 292 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque while getting 18 MPG in the city and 27 MPG on the highway. What's great about the base V-6 model is that you can have the cool sporty muscle car look for a reasonable price and the engine is no slouch either! But step up to the Hemi V-8 engine and things start to get interesting. The 2012 Dodge Charger R/T starts at just under $30k and comes packing a 370 horsepower 5.7 liter V-8 Hemi engine. The Charger R/T gets 16 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. The big daddy model is the SRT-8 which gets an even larger engine that displaces 6.4 liters and produces a whopping 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque! This car gets 14 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway but who cares when you can out accelerate any other sedan on the road. The new 2012 Dodge Charger not only looks the part of a 4-door muscle car, it has the power to back it up. The Charger is a great example of what a muscle car used to be and it sets the bar for what a 4-door muscle car should be. 2012 Chevrolet Traverse Test Drive & Crossover SUV Review
http://www.autobytel.com/chevrolet/traverse/2012/?id=32972 The 2012 Chevrolet Traverse one of the better looking crossover SUVs on the market. Speaking of seats the 2012 Chevy Travers can carry up to eight passengers. The 2012 Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a direct-injected 3.6 liter V-6 engine that produces 281 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. of torque. This engine also gets great fuel economy numbers at 17 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. The 2012 Chevrolet Traverse has a base price of $29,430. 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Road Test & Car Review
http://www.autobytel.com/hyundai/genesis-coupe/2012/ The 2012 Hyundai Genesis is a sporty compact car that features RWD. It is a great choice if you are looking for something other than the run of the mill V-6 Mustang or Camaro. The base model 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe starts at $22,250 and the top of the line model goes for $32,250. There are 2 different engines offered on the Genesis Coupe. The first is a turbocharged 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 201 horsepower and 223 lb-ft. of torque. The 3.8 liter V-6 engine gives you 306 horsepower and 266 lb-ft. of torque. Fuel economy for the 4-cylinder is 21 MPG in the city and 30 MPG on the highway while the V-6 engine manages 17 MPG city and 27 MPG highway. The 2012 Hyundai Genesis Coupe brings back the sporty fun-loving feel that the Japanese car makers were famous for many years ago. The only difference is the Hyundai Genesis is or Korean origin. This is one cool looking hatchback that will give the American muscle cars a run for their money. 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 Muscle Car Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/dodge/challenger/2013/srt8/?id=32972 When you think of the modern day American muscle car, the Chevy Camaro and Ford Mustang come to mind. But it's the Dodge Challenger that needs to be recognized. And the vehicle in this video is no ordinary Challenger. This 2013 Dodge Challenger is dubbed the SRT8 (SRT stands for Street and Racing Technology) and packs a 392 HEMI engine under the hood. The base price on the 2013 Dodge Challenger SRT8 is $43,775. The 392 HEMI that powers the Dodge Challenger is a 6.2 liter V-8 engine that makes 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque. There are 2 transmission choices available: a 5-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. The 2013 Dodge Challenger is a massive car since it is based on the Chrysler 300 platform. On the inside the Challenger is quite comfortable. On the outside the Challenger can either be subtle or in-your-face depending on the paint job. The 2013 Dodge Challenger is a great looking car, it's a great sounding car, it's a great 0-60 car, but the handling is not so great thanks to the high curb weight. But one thing is for sure; you will get noticed when you drive this SRT8. Quite literally like driving a time machine, Dodge's reintroduced Challenger can draw quite a few stares out on the road despite being in it's fifth model year.
