1200hp Turbo T/A vs ALL
Flash's 1200hp 94mm turbo WS6 Trans Am
laid the smack down at the 2013 Spring Texas Invitational, this car is
pretty crazy to watch go down the track, it almost looks like it's going to
pull the wheels off the ground the whole way!
Turbo LT1 Camaro
Second start up ever with this turbo
kit. on 93 octane, still needed some work in this video. The turbo kit is 100% custom made by Hi-Tuned
Performance in Arnold MO. all tig welded, stainless steel. GT42 turbo, 383 ci, 11.34:1 compression (converting to
EDIT 7-11-2012: car has been converted to E-85, runs okay, but needs new
valve springs, Im getting valve float. It will sit in stop and go traffic
and never get above 200 deg, while moving it will sit right at 160 deg. I
have put a slightly larger cam in since this video was taken, still sounds
stockish. The car is easy to drive, has mostly full interior, and has
given me basically no problems since this video, and i have put well over
1000 miles on it.

My LT1 7 PSI Procharger 570rwhp ~650hp Trans Am Dyno Run
This is the exact head that powers Rick Abare's 530 rwhp 3440-3470lb
Trans-Am into the 9's at over 138 mph on pump fuel.
My first Dyno run =
~100hp more than expected even the Dyno operator was confused by
wheel spin...:).Much more to be found in this combo only two runs were
made... rest I tuned on I-75!!
3000rpm = 3psi and 420lb/ft with 240hp
4000rpm = 4psi and 480lb/ft with 360hp
5000rpm = 5psi and 517lb/ft with 495hp
6200rpm - 6psi with 495lb/ft with 570hp
The ONLY mods to this 1996 TA are:
200cc LT1 Porting and Cam package
Forged 383 at about 8.9:1
83lb injectors with my own custom 2 bar tune and 2 bar MAP on stock ECM
Long Tube Pacesetter Headers
Magnaflow 3" Cat Back connected to a Pacesetter Y-Pipe (Im sure this is
just killing power).
Single Walbro 255l/hr pump.
McLeod Street Twin with Alum Flywheel
Everything else (as in.. the entire car) is fully stock including the
Traction Control and AC (it still works) and spare tire (and amps and
So, this car is HEAVY, and ran 124mph in the 1/4 mile. The ZR1 might run
132mph and is about 900lbs lighter.. so YEP that just about confirms HP.
STS Rear Mount Turbo Lag Demonstration
I hope this video can bust the myth of rear mount turbo's being laggy.
Full Boost @ right around 3000rpm.
(yes that's right 3k!)
'95 LT1 Camaro with 4
speed 4L60e automatic.
Motor is stock and has ~160k miles.
In some of the clips, you'll notice a short pause of the needle before
going into Boost, this is the
transmission downshifting. Other clips do not have this because I manually
selected 2nd gear.
Shortly after making this video, I discovered that half the intake manifold
bolts were loose and that the manifold was lifting under Boost.
This explains why the gauge never hits 7psi and it also caused the air/fuel
ratio to richen way up.
