Car Rollover - Behind the Scenes Stunt Feature
Check out this cool "behind the scenes" feature on a car rollover performed by stuntman Tom Harper (email@example.com). This is normally called a cannon turn-over but Tom designed a system that uses a retractable arm that makes it safer for the surrounding cast and crew. It works great and creates a pretty violent wreck...which we capture with an on board camera so you can ride along with the stunt! Extreme Rally Racing in a Semi Truck - Mt Washington Hill Climb and Mike Ryan
http://www.fastrucks.com/ http://mylifeatspeed.com/ Pro Racer and Hollywood Stuntman, Mike Ryan, decided to accept the challenge of wrestling his purpose built Freightliner Cascadia up the Mt. Washington Auto Road in the 2011 "Climb To The Clouds" in New Hampshire. This video feature shows the amazing talent and commitment it takes to pilot a 10,000 lbs. Semi Truck with 1,950 twin turbocharged horsepower up an extremely steep and narrow mountain road. Mike's time of 8:02.65 to the top was the 27th fastest time to the summit and was a jaw dropping experience to all who witnessed the Gulf Oil liveried Semi streaking up the mountain. With multiple on board cameras placed in dramatic locations around the Big Rig...ride along and experience the sights and sounds of a full speed race run up this treacherous road. Incredible Stunt Driving...Car Drives on Two Wheels Thru a Shop !
http://skicarstunt.com/ http://jemfx.com/ http://www.picturevehicles.com/ Just two days after Rob Dyrdek "Kick Flipped" this very car at Magic Mountain California for his show Fantasy Factory on MTV...one of the stuntmen involved in setting up the ramps and car, James A Smith, thought it would be a fun challenge to pilot the brand new Chevrolet Sonic through this working fabrication shop. And not just any shop...this is JEM FX, Hollywoods number one big time Effects power house. Run by Elia Popov and his team of mega talented engineers and fabricators, JEM FX creates the practical magic we see on screen. So when a stunt driver decides to throw it down by saying he can drive through the shop while everyone keeps working, plus not wreck the car that needs to go on display right after, there was a lot of pressure on James. It only took 2 takes and we locked this stunt in. Much to the amazement of everyone in the shop. Enjoy!
Super Swampers on a 73 Mustang and How To Measure Wheel Backspace for an Awesome Stance
http://www.totalcontrolproducts.com/gBar.html http://www.wilwood.com/Index.aspx Check it out, New Rims and Tires on the Mustang Project Large Marge! Ok, maybe the Super Swampers might be a bit much but I got them from the Roadkill guys Freiburger and Finnegan after they ran them on the awesome Muscle Truck when they went to the Sand Dunes at Glamis. They do look pretty hilarious on the Mustang! In this video I'll show you how to measure your car to fit the best fitting tires and rims into the wheel wells. So hang in there for some of the techniques I've used in the past to get a good stance on my cars. My dog Pinto makes another appearance in this video as well. Please let me know if it's too much to have her in these. Sometimes I'll lock her out of the garage while I shoot the videos but it's really nice to have her in there with me! There's also a little sneak peak in this video of a really exciting part that will be going onto the Mustang so look for that. Thanks for watching and don't forget to SUBSCRIBE and share this video to help me out! Until next time, Enjoy Your Drive! Jason
