4 PHers invited by Jaguar to take part in the Nurburgring Experience were treated to a flying lap in Jaguar's XJ-L "Ring-Taxi" at the end of the day. This is GoPro footage from that flying lap. It was an empty track, but roughly 8:44 Bridge to Gantry in a long wheel base limousine is rather impressive...

Der TWR erhielt seine erste Restauration im Jahr 1989 von einem großen Jaguar Sammler. Er war ein Ausstellungsstück. Der Jaguar XJS V12 TWR wurde von Gary Pearson mit Pearson Engineering im Jahr 2004 nochmals komplett neu restauriert. Ein historischer Rennwagen mit Geschichte. Wie er in den 80er Jahren eingesetzt wurde. Jaguar XJS V12 at JCC of WA Track Day
Our family friend, Patrick Irwin, built this XJ-S (Red Dog2) Race Car. This car runs a modified V12 stroked to 6 Litres & is fitted with special cams & 6 down-draught weber carburettors. The manual transmission is a 6 speed Tremec behind a ceramic clutch. The seriously modified rear end runs a Dana 44 centre & modified final drive ratio (4.11:1). This video was taken by our son, Craig, at the Jaguar Car Club of Western Australia Track Day at the Collie Motorplex on Frid. 24 Sept. 2010. The JCC of WA runs two Track Days annually & we usually have around 15 to 20 Jaguars on the track throughout the day.

Recently we came across this beautiful Jaguar XJ-S 5.3 V12 Convertible 1989 at The Gallery in Brummen, The Netherlands. This classic car dealer is one of the largest in the world. The Jaguar XJ-S (later the Jaguar XJS) was a luxury grand tourer produced by the British manufacturer Jaguar from 1975 to 1996. The XJ-S replaced the E-Type (or XK-E) in September 1975, and was based on the XJ saloon. It had been developed as the XK-F, though it was very different in character from its predecessor. Although it never had quite the same sporting image, the XJ-S was a competent grand tourer, and more aerodynamic than the E-Type.[3] The last XJS was produced on 4 April 1996, by then 115,413 had been produced during a 21-year production life. The model was replaced by the XK8

Walter Hassan and Harry Mundy were responsible for the Coventry Climax engine for Jaguar and then developed the V12. This was the power plant for luxurious power.

Jaguar XJS V12 Taking Some Tight Corners
1988 Jaguar XJ-S 5.3 litre V12. This video, although very shaky at times, is actually shot from inside a chasing twin 1988 Jaguar XJ-S V12 which you can see in my other video. My friend is filming and I am driving the XJ-S which is being chased. These are some truly amazing forest roads and it was lots of fun navigating the big cats through the hairpin bends....something that most XJ-S owners don't really get into very much. You can really hear the engine getting a workout! With the lack of exterior XJ-S videos currently on YouTube, I figured I'd upload this for people like me who share interest in these great cars.





A drive through the country in a 2011 Jaguar XJ L Diesel (Part 1)
Driving through the country in a new Jaguar XJ L Diesel. The car has 275 HP and 600 Nm of torque. If you get the impression, that it is a bumpy right: Yup, it is not the most comfortable car. Also only one of the rattling noises you hear, comes from the camera. The rest is made by the car. Not the best build quality. The car is very nice around corners, though.
