Audi B5 S4 passing an E39 BMW M5 on the Autobahn at over 260 km/h - 160 mph...
Silly BMW M5 driver was holding me up and didn't get out of the way. :-)
I pulled away from him easily in 6th gear until coming up on traffic...
To be honest, I was following way too close for that speed and probably
pissed him off. This video was taken many years ago, I don't drive like

BMW 335i vs Audi S4! - Head 2 Head Episode 10
On this episode of Head 2 Head, Carlos Lago pits the new 2012 BMW 335i
against it's natural rival from Ingolstadt - the 2012 Audi S4. The 3 Series
has long enjoyed its reputation as the benchmark of European sports sedans.
But does the more powerful S4 finally have what it takes to end BMW's

Lemon Law Won! Nissan GT-R 2010 Transmission Problems
I get a full refund plus any interest paid.
BBB took care of the arbitration and made the process extremely painless.
Nissan not so much, but I don't want to go to into detail without legal
advice. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to share the audio, but I would love
for you guys to hear what transpired.
I'll also check to see if I can publish the arbitrators findings.
@ 1:10seconds into the video watch the tach and accel pedal gauges and
notice that when I hit the throttle 100%, the car hesitates for 2-3
seconds. If you watch the tach for almost three seconds it sits at
1,000rpm and actually goes backwards on the 2nd second. In the car it
feels like a dead pedal. You learn to drive the car's pedal is an on-off
switch because it won't go.
and yes I sound like a mad man because I'm so frustrated with the
transmission in what is otherwise an impressive vehicle.
I currently have 2200 miles on my car. I've had a transmission failure at
400 miles and since then multiple transmission issues. 1) The clutch
slipped on take off leaving work on a turn in a slippery area and the car
shut down and told me to pull over. I was told verbally that they did see
an 'irregularity' by one of the service techs but it was not documented on
the the service ticket. 2) The car will not accelerate after coming to a
complete stop or after slowing down and then reaccelerating. This has
caused numerous close calls, one where a bus had to almost come to a
complete stop on a highway to avoid hitting me. 3) The transmission has
got stuck in first gear on two occasions with two different drivers. I was
driving down US19 at 20 mpg runing 5-6k RPM and it would not switch into
second with all switches in normal and transmission in Automatic.
I've had it in for service 5 times for this issue and two times it's been
towed in. I believe the total time in the shop has been ~18 days.
All of these issues are driving the car non-aggressively, usually within
the first 5 miles of driving and using automatic mode with none of the race
mode switches on.
The dealership has had the car 5 times to solve these issues. The Nissan
manager even test drove my car on March 8th and immediately drove another
2010 and told me when he got back that it appeared to him that it was
abnormal and he did not have the delay in the other car. Despite that I
got a call on March 11th to pick up the car, they found nothing wrong. I
got the paper work and they stated they did not notice a problem. I asked
the Service Manager about what he said on March 8th and he stated again
that he didn't think it was normal. I asked him to put that in the service
ticket and he would not. I asked him to put in the service ticket that I
was concerned for my safety. My wife told him the same thing because she
drove it once and it got stuck in 1st gear so she will no longer drive it
and he said he'd have to call Nissan of America, he did and told me he
could not alter the service ticket. He also made an odd comment, in his
exact words, "Nissan has deep pockets". I refused to sign the ticket and
took the car. I assume that meant that it would be a bad idea to sue but
I'm not exactly sure.
This morning, March 12th 2010, I put a camera in the car. It's only a
matter of time before I get one of these issues on camera. I will be
uploading them if I do. The video that you see here is of today at lunch
after someone pulled out onto the roadway and I tried to take off. This is
not one of the problems that I'm claiming on my three main concerns but you
can see what I deal with every day on a car that is claimed to go 0-60 in

Audi Smokes BMW? 2010 Audi S4 vs. 2009 BMW 335i
2010 Audi S4 vs. 2009 BMW 335i Comparison Test:
2008 BMW M3 @ the Track Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cu7uy6m4rw0
Given all the praise heaped on the BMW 3 Series over the years, we can't
blame you for thinking there's more to the story. We've heard all the
conspiracy theories, most of them involving checks in large denominations
This might seem believable to a certain segment of the population, but
there's a far less interesting truth behind all those wins: The BMW was the
best car. Sure, certain rivals often upped their game in one area or
another, but the 3 Series always put it all together in a way that made it
So now the 2010 Audi S4 is here to take another shot. It's all-new this
year and the old V8 is gone. There's now a supercharged V6 in its place,
along with a lower price designed to better align the S4 with the BMW 335i.
The BMW 3 Series received a face-lift of its own last year. It was mostly
minor trim changes and the like, but we're told that iDrive thing was
tweaked again, too (oh, lovely).
Sounds like a fair fight, no?
New Audi S4 2013
The Audi S4, available in the Sedan and Avant versions, employs the most
powerful engine in the line -- the 3.0 TFSI with 245 kW (333 hp) and 440 Nm
(324.53 lb-ft) torque. The Sedan's average fuel consumption is a mere 8.0
liters per 100 km (29.40 US mpg) -- with an impressive performance: The S4
accelerates in 5.0 seconds from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) and achieves
an electronically limited maximum speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph).
The modified Audi S4 is identifiable from the changes to the headlights,
the bumpers, the air inlets and colors. The interior also contains subtle
changes in appearance. The S sport suspension and 18-inch wheels featured
on the S4 deliver outstanding road grip.
A bestseller has become even more attractive: Audi has updated the A4
series. New solutions for efficiency, driving dynamics and infotainment,
along with an even more attractive design, attest the "Vorsprung durch
Technik" achieved by the A4 Sedan, the A4 Avant, the A4 allroad quattro and
The A4 is Audi's bestseller -- for 39 years now and in its eighth
generation. The brand has sold ten million such models in total. The A4,
with its elegance, sportiness and emotional appeal, forms the centerpiece
of the Audi brand. And now the design has become even more clearly defined
and striking in all models -- the Sedan, the Avant, the allroad quattro and
The new look further accentuates the horizontal lines at the front end. The
engine hood is more arched, the upper corners of the single frame grille
are tapered, and the cross ribs and the Audi rings are highlighted
three-dimensionally. The grille is painted gray, with high-gloss black on
the six-cylinder models or in combination with the S line exterior package.
The redesigned bumpers are striking with their angular air inlets, their
revised grilles and the flat front fog lights. The A4 allroad quattro is
distinguished by its grille's horizontal chrome applications and by the
round fog lights.
The headlights have also changed, with a slight wave at the bottom edges,
and a re-arranged interior. Xenon plus headlights are available from Audi
on request. The LED daytime running lights form a narrow, optically
homogeneous band that remains open in the vicinity of the xenon lens. The
adaptive light together with dynamic and static cornering lights are
available on request.
The tail lights reflect the shape of the headlights, and in combination
with xenon plus have homogeneous strips of LEDs. The bumper with its
diffuser insert has been redesigned, with the Exhaust system always terminating in two
There is a selection of 15 paint finishes, including four new tones. The
Sedan and the Avant offer the S line exterior package, while the Avant also
includes a roof spoiler.
The modifications have changed the dimensions only by a few millimeters.
The A4 Sedan and the Avant each have a length of 4.70 meters (15.42 ft),
while the A4 allroad quattro and the S4 are 4.72 meters (15.49 ft) long.
The wheelbases for all models are 2.81 meters (9.22 ft), and the width is
1.83 and 1.84 meters, respectively (6.0 and 6.04 ft). The height varies
between 1.41 and 1.50 meters (4.63 and 4.92 ft) depending on the body
