Dodge Viper RT/10 review
This is an oold Review of Clarkson.... but still the same words as he used for the new one...

1973 Camaro 454 RS For Sale
Partially restored 1973 Camaro R/S. This vehicle was purchase from a gentleman who started a full restoration, but was not able to complete due to unemployment. The undercarriage was completely detailed and is absolutely beautiful. it has very solid floor bards, trunk pan and a tied frame. The motor has less than 600 miles on it and is a built 454 10.5 compression, board .30 over, roller rockers, 69 Camaro oval port closed chamber heads, 580 lift cam, edlebrock intake and carb, 10 bot posi-traction 3:42 gears, power front disc brakes. The less than perfect things are the paint. It has some blemishes, some bondo and some chips and cracks. The interior needs a headliner and the wipers and gauges are inoperable (I read 7 miles an hour wrong obviously) except the after market gauges. All in all this is was a great car to drive and if you know how to paint, it could be a very, very solid classic! Visit www.DreamCarReview.com for more videos and contact information.

132968 / 2001 Dodge Viper RT-10
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/7mw7u7l If you've always dreamed of owning a Viper, but were hesitant to buy because of the car's purpose built performance nature, here's your opportunity to own an immaculate RT/10 that has been pampered and maintained by one diehard Mopar collector since the day it rolled out of the showroom! Virtually new in every way, this pristine 2001 RT/10 roadster features vivid Viper Red paint which, unlike most modern cars, displays a fantastic wet-look finish and super smooth reflections. After the car's one and only Mopar collecting owner drove it off the showroom floor, he decided that he wasn't very satisfied with some aspects of the car's factory paint. So, he sent his showroom fresh Viper straight to the body shop where its factory blemishes were removed from the hood vents, driver's door, right rear fender and optional hardtop, then buffed to a fantastic shine. Like all of our featured Vipers, this car has been a meticulously cared for toy rather than a daily driver or a weekend track weapon; and as a result, has led a very easy life which involved a minimum of sunny day driving here in Charlotte, North Carolina and a lifetime of climate controlled storage. The engine under this cars massive clamshell hood needs no introduction. Displacing a massive 8 liters and turning a stout 9.6 to 1 compression ratio into 450 horsepower and 490 lb./ft. of torque, this 488 cubic inch aluminum beast is one of the most outrageous powerplants ever bolted between the fenders of a production car. The big engine has been pampered by the same owner since the day it rolled off the showroom floor, and is absolutely immaculate from its dual throttle bodies all the way down to its aluminum oil pan, tubular stainless Exhaust manifolds and regularly refreshed fluids. Underneath the car, you'll find a spotless chassis, that's complete with a Borg Warner T56 6-speed manual transmission and an upgraded Dana 44 limited slip differential which carries interstate-happy 3.08 gears. At the center of the car, the rear-exit Exhaust I mentioned earlier has been upfitted with an aftermarket cat-back system which sends air through great sounding Corsa mufflers to give the big V10 a much improved roar. At the corners of the car, four wheel disc brakes, which come equipped with both standard electronic distribution and a state-of-the-art anti-lock system, squeeze "Viper" branded dual piston calipers around 13 inch rotors. And keeping all this thoroughbred hardware rolling down the road is a handsome set of 18 inch polished aluminum wheels which wear ORIGINAL 275/35 front and 335/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport performance radials. Like the roadsters that inspired it, this Viper features a fresh black interior that places an emphasis on simplicity and performance above all else. The perforated leather bucket seats are so comfortable that Dodge actually licensed their design as an office chair; and the door panels, while simple, feature both a satin finished door handles and trick emergency releases. In front of the seats a large dash, which still features its factory warning tags, holds clear white-face gauges above a crystal clear CD player; and between the seats, a satin finished shifter holds a leather shift knob above buttons for the car's power windows and a satin finished and leather wrapped emergency brake handle. Below the seats, Viper logo floor mats protect like-new carpet, and behind the seats, built in storage bins lock to secure small valuables. Connecting the driver to the road is a nice leather wrapped, three spoke steering wheel. And behind the cockpit, the fully finished trunk is all business with a jack, a compact spare tire and just enough space to store a couple of car show chairs. Don't miss this excellent opportunity to ink a deal on a car that, even ten years off the showroom floor, is one of the fastest and most exclusive machines on the road! Call, click or visit http://RKMotorsCharlotte.com for more information on this awesome car!

1993 Dodge Viper RT/10 - SOLD!
www.sustainedmotion.com This one owner 1993 Dodge Viper has 17,400 miles and is incredible condition. There were 285 Vipers produced in the first year of production, 1992 and 1,043 made in 1993. This Viper is the 149th Viper made in 1993 or the 434th Viper ever made! This car is in near perfect condition, although is does have a few very small paint chips from being used. To our knowledge, it is all original except for the addition of Borla Exhaust, sliding plastic windows and a Pioneer Super tuner radio with iPod capability. It has had one damage incident, being damage to the Exhaust system when a dealer put the car on a lift to service it. Of course, this was repaired. The car comes with a set of new $1,600 tires. This is a pure performance machine that made history when introduced and is compared to the AC Cobra in terms of its place in performance car history. Dodge Viper RT/10 Roadster--D&M Motorsports Video Review 2012 Chris Moran
SEE OVER 100 IN-DEPTH AUTO REVIEWS @ www.SUPERCARNETWORK.com. A quick look at a 1994 Dodge Viper RT/10 with Chris Moran. Presented by D&M Motorsports. The Dodge Viper is one of the first V10-powered cars in the world, made by the Dodge division of Chrysler. Production of the two seat sports car began at New Mack Assembly in 1991 and moved to its current home at Conner Avenue Assembly in October 1995. The car, and numerous variations, has made many appearances in TV shows, video games, movies, and music videos[citation needed]. Although Chrysler considered ending production because of financial problems,[1][2] chief executive Sergio Marchionne announced and showed on September 14, 2010 a redesign of the Viper for 2012.[3] The Viper was conceived as a historical take on the classic American sports car. The iconic AC Cobra was a source of inspiration, and the final version of the Viper bears this out with its powerful engine, minimalist straightforward design, muscular and aggressive styling, and high performances. Some saw claims to kinship with the Cobra as a marketing exercise, ignoring that Carroll Shelby was heavily involved in the initial design of the Viper, and subsequent design of the Viper GTS coupe. Notably, the later (1996 through 2002) Viper GTS coupe took a few design cues from the Pete Brock designed Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe. Though the proportions seem similar at first glance, the designs are quite unique. Carroll Shelby was key in the development of the RT/10 as well as having a hand in the development of the GTS (Viper Coupe) model. The Viper was initially conceived in late 1988 at Chrysler's Advanced Design Studios. The following February, Chrysler president Bob Lutz suggested to Tom Gale at Chrysler Design that the company should consider producing a modern Cobra, and a clay model was presented to Lutz a few months later. Produced in sheet metal by Metalcrafters,[4] the car appeared as a concept at the North American International Auto Show in 1989. Public reaction was so enthusiastic, that chief engineer Roy Sjoberg was directed to develop it as a standard production vehicle. Sjoberg selected 85 engineers to be "Team Viper," with development beginning in March 1989. The team asked the then-Chrysler subsidiary Lamborghini to cast some prototype aluminum blocks based on Dodge's V10 truck engine[citation needed] for sports car use in May. The production body was completed in the fall, with a chassis prototype running in December. Though a V8 was first used in the test mule, the V10, which the production car was meant to use, was ready in February 1990. Official approval from Chrysler chairman Lee Iacocca came in May 1990. One year later, Carroll Shelby piloted a pre-production car as the pace vehicle in the Indianapolis 500 race. In November 1991, the car was released to reviewers with first retail shipments beginning in January 1992. The first prototype was tested in January 1989. It debuted in 1991 with two pre-production models as the pace car for the Indianapolis 500 when Dodge was forced to substitute it in place of the Japanese-built Stealth because of complaints from the United Auto Workers, and went on sale in January 1992 as the RT/10 Roadster. The centerpiece of the car was its engine. It was based on the Chrysler LA design, which was a truck engine. The original configuration made it too heavy for sports car use, so Lamborghini, then owned by Chrysler Corporation, revamped Dodge's cast-iron block V10 for the Viper by recasting the block and head in aluminum alloy. Some within Chrysler felt the pushrod two-valve design, while adequate for the truck application, was unsuitable for a performance car and suggested a more comprehensive redesign which would have included four valves per cylinder. Chrysler, however, was uncertain about the Viper's production costs and sales potential and so declined to provide the budget for the modification. The engine weighed 711 lb (323 kg) and produced 400 bhp (300 kW) at 4600 rpm and 465 lb·ft (630 N·m) at 3600 rpm, and thanks to the long-gearing allowed by the engine, provided fuel economy at a United States Environmental Protection Agency-rated 12 mpg-US (20 L/100 km; 14 mpg-imp) city and 20 mpg-US (12 L/100 km; 24 mpg-imp) highway.[5] The body was a tubular steel frame with resin transfer molding (RTM) fiberglass panels. Some small bits of the suspension, (tie-rod ends and parts of the front wheel hubs) following the manufacturer's "engine first" mantra, were sourced from the Dodge Dakota pickup. It had a curb weight of 3,284 lb (1,490 kg) and lacked all modern driver aids such as traction control or anti-lock brakes.
