Junkyard Walk Summer 2010 - Part 1
I just got back from visiting my favorite junkyard in the middle of
nowhere. It was mostly filled with pickup trucks, but there are a few cool
old cars from the 50s, 60s, and 70s. The junkyard was overgrown with
waist-high weeds and muddy in spots which made it hard to get around,
almost like it didn't want to give up its secrets. I had a odd feeling of
excitement and discovery mixed with sadness for the fallen cars. I had a
great time and I can't wait to visit there again.
Dodge Hellcat-Viper-Hellcat Thrash Battle! - Roadkill Ep. 38
Roadkill is now powered by Dodge! To kick off the sponsorship, Finnegan and
Freiburger called for some brand new 2015 supercars: the 707-horsepower Dodge Challenger
SRT Hellcat and Charger SRT Hellcat, plus a 645-horsepower Dodge Viper GT.
Why? For an epic thrash, of course! This video has more tire smoke than
you've ever seen from these cars, plus a big, irresponsible surprise at a
motocross track. There are guest spots from Carlos Lago from Motor Trend,
Fred Williams from Dirt Every Day, and pro drifter Tony Angelo. None of
these guys should have been handed the keys. And by the way, we used the
Hellcat red keys the whole time.
Roadkill appears every fourth Friday on the Motor Trend channel.

1960 Dodge Matador Polara
1960 Dodge Matador. The Matador and Polara were the full-sized Dodges for
1960. This was a one year only body style. These were available in 2 and
4 door versions including coupes as well as convertibles and station
wagons. This is one of the last of the cars sporting fins of any
significant size. The car in this movie has 112,000 miles on it and is the
original engine and transmission. It has virtually no leaks. The original
spare tire is still in the trunk and still holds air. The 361B V8 engine
is quite peppy and moves the car right along. On a good day it will chirp
the tires on a 1-2 shift. The car recently came to Arizona from Spokane
and March of 2013 I installed the AC in it. I also removed the generator
and replaced it with a GM 1-wire alternator as the generator was not up to
the task of the electric loads with the AC. Around the 5:00 mark there is
video of the engine.
