69 Chevy Caprice 396cid SURVIVOR - Now w MUSIC
FOR SALE: 69 Chevy Caprice, 396 with high performance cam, TH400, disc PB
(very strong),PS,PW and air condition (works). One of the rare really good
survivors with just 28.000 orig. miles on it!! From a car collector of San
Diego, California (see plates), never saw snow, much rain and too much
heavy sun, garage kept, orig., nearly perfect interior, very nice chrome
and paint, very nice vinyl roof,
Very good running 396 big block - acceleration like a late 60's Muscle Car
(or better like the very rare Full Size Muscle Cars, like the 70 Plymouth
Sport Fury GT with the mighty 440 "big block hunter" with 375HP...)
Nevertheless the car rides smooth and quiet -"like ride on air" - the
suspension is not worn out, you really will enjoy that!

Starting up the Impala
Starting up the 1970 Chevrolet Impala after many years of sitting idle.
This was about 10 years ago. Again, it sits alone in a garage waiting to be
started. It had been sitting in front of my old house on Roselle Avenue in
1969 Chevrolet Caprice STK # 1012
This Chevrolet Caprice rolled into the world in 1969. Painted in a nice
blue hue with a new custom blue interior, sets this car apart from all
others. With only 64,534 miles on this number matching Caprice it will not
last long. Under the hood is a 350ci 270hp V8 backed up by an automatic
transmission. In the cabin you will find cold 134 air conditioning, cloth
interior, power steering, power brakes and AM/FM/CD radio. Chevy rally
wheels and radial tires glide this Caprice down the road. If you would like

350 with Comp Cams Magnum 270H 112 LSA and 4/7 swap
This was my first time swaping a sbc cam. I left the 081 heads stock on my
350, but put new extreme push rods, 270h cam, and lifters. So, you can run
a .470 lift cam on stock heads. I spent many weeks looking for that answer
ans now I have the experience for my self. I also could not find a good
sound clip of this special grind cam online- so now there is one....enjoy!
Comp Cams Magnum hydraulic flat tappet grind #12-211-2, with two changes...
it has the 4/7 swap and LSA is 112 (instead of 110).
Built for 1.6 rockers, lift is .501"/.501
(If used with 1.5 rockers, lift would be .470)
1970 Impala. Rustfree Texascar. Bought it in California. Shipped to
Denmark, where it once again was sold to a new happy owner.
