Washing your car has been a Sunday morning tradition for every car fanatic since the day they got their learners permit. Over the years of maintaining some of the rarest cars in the world, we discovered not only washing your car improperly, but drying your car improperly, will slowly diminish your paints shine. This weeks video discusses some of the techniques to safely wash your car using soft and safe paint soap, along with the 3 bucket method to avoid any chance of inadvertently scratching the vehicle during the wash process. Each car has its own nuances, so remember to adjust your techniques according to the needs of your specific vehicle, ie...black paint vs light colored, clearcoat vs single stage, vintage car vs new car. For Northern California's John Cross that experience came by way of riding in the back of his cousins 1970 440 6-Pack Plymouth 'Cuda when he was a kid. It was a car that provided him with memories, stories and of course, a goal - that being, to one day own the very car which got his engine running all those years ago. It's now 2012, 42 years after that first faithful ride in the very 'Cuda you're about to see. This time however it resides in John's garage, not his cousins, which can mean only one thing...
