2015 Volkswagen Golf VII R400 Concept: - Start up, Exhaust Sounds & More!
I have filmed the new über-Golf: 2015 Volkswagen Golf VII R400. This
one-off concept is recently unveiled at the Beijing motor show and has been
developed by Volkswagen's R division in a program aimed at both showcasing
its engineering prowess and range of customization.

The turbo system is based on the
original design of the Stage 1 and Stage 2 turbo systems featuring a similar piping layout
and OEM like look. At the core of the system is a Custom turbonetics T04 based custom turbocharger, EIP custom front mount Intercooler utilizing the Spearco bar
and plate core along with EIP's upgraded intake and charge piping.
Internally the bottom end of the engine has been fitted with EIP forged
pistons and chromemoly rods that are mated to an EIP High Flow Cylinder
Head and EIP custom head studs. The fuel system is upgraded with EIP custom
direct fit 1000cc fuel injectors, 1:1 fpr, upgrades fuel lines and fuel
pump. Managing these components is the Electromotive TEC3 Stand Alone
Engine Management System. An EIP Transmount, custom Race series clutch,
pressure plate and flywheel manage the OEM drive line. The AWD system
incorporates a custom Haldex RWD controller that enables 20/80, 50/50 and
other torque splits between the front and rear drive.
