There isn't very much information on the web about the launch control system in the 2013 GT500 so I made a video as an end user on mine to explain the 4 different modes and real world application.

2011 Shelby GT500 SVTPP Top Speed
"Top Speed" run in my 2011 Shelby GT500 SVTPP. Wish the gauge went higher cause I had a lot left in 5th gear and overdrive still lol. Uphill pull til around 100 mph then level ground. Performed on a private air strip in south GA. Mods: VMP 2.59 pulley, 90 mm idler, NGK TR6 spark plugs, JLT carbon fiber intake tube, Shelby America oiled air filter, Ford Racing axle back Exhaust, C & R dual fan heat exchanger, and Dyno tune by Aric at Injected Engineering. 535rwhp/535tq

2013 Ford Mustang GT500 200mph dyno run
A friend's new 2013 GT500 on the Dyno. Car put down 606rwhp & 624rwtq bone stock. It later put down 672whp & 649whp with a 123mm throttle body, intake & OTS tune.

Please do not attempt to try what you see in this video Here is couple of pulls in the brand new 2013 GT500 in a private runway. Please dont forget that this car is completely bone-stock, and even in this form car pulls like a freight train! I believe it is very possible to achieve 200+ mph with the longer runway.
