2011 Cadillac SRX Performance Collection Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour/Review

For the 2011 model year there are several model designations for the new SRX including Base, Luxury, Performance, Premium, turbo Performance, and turbo Premium. The basic differences in the performance and the premium is climate control for the rear passengers, ventilated seats for the front, and a couple of small things, other than that the performance and premium are almost one in the same. You can pick up a performance for around $42-43k. In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Cadillac SRX Performance Collection. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this crossover while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this crossover designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

2013 Cadillac SRX: Expert Car Review by Lauren Fix
The new and improved 2013 Cadillac SRX is the best-selling model line under the Cadillac brand. Let's take a closer look. Model -- 2013 Cadillac SRX MPG -- 17 city / 24 hwy. Engine -- 3.6L V6 engine that produces 308 horsepower Towing Capacity: 3000lbs. Price -- base price starts at $37,155 Test Vehicle: AWD Premium Collection with destination $53,520. The 2013 SRX has been freshened with a new front fascia that includes LED lighting in the fender vents. Inside, every SRX receives Cadillac's CUE 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system. Active-noise cancellation aims to make the SRX quieter, and new technology such as adaptive cruise control is available. The 2013 Cadillac SRX seats five and comes in standard, premium, luxury and performance trims. Each trim has a V6 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is optional. There are interior material upgrades, including wood trim, as well as additional technology and safety features. My test drive was comfortable and the SRX had ample power and handled well on the road. Getting into the garage or a parking spot was made easier by the Safety Alert Seat, which sends subtle pulses through the seat cushion, alerting the driver of potential hazards. The Cadillac CUE system was easy to use, with touch screen controls for navigation, Bluetooth, audio, temperature and more. Competes with: • Porsche Cayenne • Lincoln MKX • Land Rover LR2 • Audi Q5 • BMW X3 • Volvo XC60 Likes: • Plentiful features • Comfortable ride • Classy cabin design • CUE smart infotainment system Dislikes: • Shift points on transmission • Turning radius could be tighter • Seats need more lateral support The 2013 Cadillac SRX is luxury crossover with angular and athletic looks, a strong engine, comfortable ride, plush cabin and creature comforts that impress. Remember, when shopping for a new car, test drive as many vehicles as you can in the class you are looking in to make sure you find the car that is best for you. But upon stepping foot in the crossover for the first time everything changed. Inside lays a stunning and well appointed interior. It's loaded, and I mean loaded with innovative safety features, incredible bose speakers and supple leather seats that feel fit for a king. So while it might not be the cutest girl in town, it suits its purpose extremely well. And hey its what's inside that counts right? We at Vehicle-Virgins™ are a dedicated group of college students here to help you make one of the most important decisions of your life: buying your first car. What sets us apart from other consumer review organizations is our perspective of review; we approach the cars as any kid would, not only as a professional automotive journalist would. We take into account real-world decision factors such as budget, reliability, safety, and maintenance, but we also rate cars on their appeal to a younger market. At 19 and 20 years old, we have spent lots of time looking for our first cars, and we know what appeals to us as well as our friends. Our mission is to guide individuals in the right direction for their first car. Vehicle-Virgins reviews popular cars that young buyers are in the market for and helps them decide if the car they are looking at is a good choice. We are lighthearted individuals who are passionate about cars and hope you find our reviews both informative and funny. Cheers. 2011 Cadillac SRX Review, Walkaround, Exhaust, Test Drive
Bold styling paired with a high class interior make for a very competitive luxury SUV on paper. It's severe heft and slightly high price tag keeps it from being a class leader although that hasn't stopped it from being a sales success for the brand.
