2014 Porsche 911 Turbo S: The Most Capable Grand Tourer? Ignition Ep. 104
On this episode of Ignition, Jonny Lieberman has a go with perhaps the most capable grand touring car on the market, the new Porsche 911 turbo S. Combining 560 horsepower, upwards of 553 lb-ft of torque and several cows' worth of leather. Embarking on a cross continental trip in the dead of winter, Jonny begins in frosty Georgia and heads all the way back to Motor Trend's headquarters in Southern California. Along the way he traverses ten States, meets up with friends like Randy Pobst and John Hennessey, examines why Americans are so found of road trips and just generally enjoys the hell out of one of the quickest production cars on earth, the mighty 911 turbo S. Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel. http://www.youtube.com/motortrend Subscribe now to make sure you're in on all the action! https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCsAegdhiYLEoaFGuJFVrqFQ?sub_confirmation=1 Facebook - http://facebook.com/motortrendmag & https://www.facebook.com/mt.ignition Twitter - http://twitter.com/motortrend & https://twitter.com/mt_ignition Google+ - https://plus.google.com/+motortrend/posts Instagram - @mt_ignition Website - http://www.motortrend.com

1100HP Porsche runs sequential gearbox Evo IX on the street!
We are happy to see the infamous Evo IX is finally out ready to play after it's transmission upgrade! The Evo normally runs around ~55psi, but now it is running 45psi while testing the new Drenth sequential transmission. This Porsche 911 turbo is no joke! It has run 9.4@156mph in the 1/4 mile and makes over 1100whp. This is not a PDK trans in the Porsche, but the factory auto that has been beefed up in to handle the power. Can't wait to see what happens when the Evo is turned up to it's normal 55psi on that FP Super 94! Check out our new iOS app for iPhone! - https://appsto.re/us/DYjf2.i Android version is still in development.

The Porsche 918 Spyder Tested - CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS
The plug-in hybrid, mid-engine hypercar: The Porsche 918 Spyder. Tested by /DRIVE's Chris Harris at the Valencia circuit in the winter of 2013. The Porsche 918 Spyder has come a long way since when we first saw it at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2010. Competing against the Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1, it is the cheapest of the trio of new hypercars at a base price of $845,000. The engine weights 140 kg according to Porsche and it delivers 608 horsepower (453 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 528 N·m (389 lbf·ft) of maximum torque. This is supplemented by two electric motors delivering an additional 279 hp (208 kW) - One 154 hp electric motor drives the rear wheels in parallel with the engine and also serves as the main generator.

Porsche Macan Turbo vs Cayman GTS - is the SUV a sports car on stilts?
We pit two very different cars from Porsche's range against each other in one of our famous track battles! Which comes out on top? Subscribe to our YouTube channel http://bit.ly/11Ad1j1 Subscribe to the mag http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/yt Porsche's range is bigger than ever, and we're testing two of the newest and most exciting models - the Macan turbo and Cayman GTS. The cars couldn't be more different - the Macan a sports SUV, whereas the Cayman GTS is a more powerful version of the Cayman S. They both cost under £60,000, but how different are they on track? The Cayman GTS has 340bhp and 380NM of torque. It'll hit 60mph in 4.6 seconds and weighs just 1,345kg. When it comes to price, it's going to set you back just over £55,000. The Macan turbo has 400bhp and 550NM of torque, but it tips the scales at 1,925kg and will cost you just over £59,000, but it'll still hit 60mph in just 4.8 seconds. The Cayman GTS is an absolute delight to drive around a circuit and set an impressive lap time of 1:10.5 seconds. That's 1.2 seconds faster than a Cayman S. How does the Macan turbo compare? The end result wasn't much of a surprise - the Cayman showed a clean pair of heels to the Macan around the test track, but there's more to these cars than racing against a stopwatch. The Cayman GTS is simply one of the finest cars I've ever driven on a circuit. It's beautifully balanced and an absolute joy to drive. The Macan isn't as at its best when it's chasing a lap time, but it's got lots of grip and a very smooth, powerful and refined engine, and it's one of the best sports SUVs you can buy. So, in our minds, both of these Porsches are winners.

Porsche Macan vs Range Rover Evoque - one of these is the best small SUV in the world
With a world clamouring for SUVs, the new Porsche Macan S Diesel promises to give the Range Rover Evoque a run for its money. Steve Sutcliffe finds out if it succeeds. SUBSCRIBE to Autocar: http://smarturl.it/autocar Porsche purists might not like it, but the Porsche Macan has already proved to be a smash hit. More than 50,000 have been sold already, which means there's a year-long waiting list. In the hysteria around the new model, it's easy to feel sorry for the Range Rover Evoque. But when it comes to performance, ride and handling, even in the 46mpg S Diesel, the Macan is all over the Evoque. Steve Sutcliffe puts them both to the test. Autobahn and Porsche Turbo
The Autobahns are German highways. There is a traffic sign that means no speed limit! Germans have the best roads and the best cars. www.varizes.med.br Why do I think that German cars are the best? Porsche turbo's top speed is 310km/h (193mph). You won't see a girl driving that fast but if go to Germany, you'll see german women driving her station wagons on faster than 200Km/h (125M/h). What about driving a 480hp brand-new all wheel drive Porsche turbo? ...276km/h (172mph) is quite easy to reach. This car is gorgeous, sexy and friendly. Put your GSM card in the stereo system and send SMSs to your friends from the steering wheel (slow down first). At 218km/h "cruising on a rainy day"... an Audi A4 passed easily.
