Buick Skylark race car 001.MOV

First , the Supercharger "rattle" sound in engine bay is quite normal , and comes from the bearings of the Supercharger. This goes away over 800rpm, and so you will not hear it when you drive. New setup with E85 fuel.... (1978-79 Buick Skylark Custom Sedan) Not original engine - it is a redone ZZ4 block with completely rebalanced rotating assembly ,forged crank and so on- with forged pistons , Dart Pro-1 heads (225 type) , modified by myself , Voodoo 1:7 rockers and much more...and Weiand Supercharger with "Superchiller" Intercooler system (pumps and reservoir in trunk...) , "Proform 850" race carburator with E85 plates and some other mods... this is a one-off engine. Driveline is accordingly to engine , with 10-bolt 3,73 / 4,11 "detroit locker" and all that is needed - "c-clip eliminator kit" , competition engineering "slide-a-link" and all the rest. Car is always considered for sale , to the right person ! (owned by myself since 1987 , so I can guarantee the history of this very rare and completely rust free car... I have all original parts in storage, so it can be taken back to complete original condition.) I can even sell Engine without the car ! Not very expensive compared to build cost - which is high. Can be tested on/off track. Buyer must be a licensed racer, because of the nature of this engine. It is wild.... (shipping not possible , will only trade in person , but I answer email.)

1965 Buick Skylark Gateway Classic Cars Chicago #681
One look at this 1965 Skylark and you will realize this is not your Grandpa’s Buick! This thing not only looks tough, but has the performance to back it up. This vehicle has had a lot done in the past 10,000 miles since rebuild including full air ride by Ridetech, 2 inch drop spindles, tubular A-Arms, adjustable ride height and a numbers-matching Wildcat 310. The 18” front and 20” rear wheels and nitrogen filled tires were replaced approximately 1,000 miles ago. In the mid 1960’s it was common belief that smaller vehicles of the time should be made in unit-bodied construction but Buick stuck with the full frame which makes modification and upgrading possible on this A-Body Beauty. This car really represents the best of the best with original styled interior features and stock body complimented by the new wheels and tires and adjustable air suspension. The Wildcat 310 was known for reliability and performance and this one is no exception. The attention to detail and amazing paint quality and finish is sure to demand a second look on the road. Investment quality convertibles from the 1960’s are becoming harder to find and this is your chance to own one that was done right with very close attention to detail and original attributes. Located in our Chicago showroom, this 1965 Buick Skylark Convertible can be seen including an HD video and pictures at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. #218 NDY - 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible - Gateway Classic Cars Indianapolis
For sale is a rare 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible located in our Indianapolis showroom. To commemorate Buick's 50th anniversary, Buick introduced the luxurious, limited production 1953 Skylark convertible. This was based on the 1953 Roadmaster convertible but was customized on the assembly line with the windshield being chopped down 3" and they also chopped and sectioned the doors creating a distinct dip in the beltline that was unique to the Skylark and subsequently copied in following years for Buick and other auto makers. They also lowered the suspension allowing the Skylark to sit 4" lower than the Roadmaster adding to the sleek appearance. Other unique items on the Skylark included special leather upholstery, slimmed down exterior sweep spear trim, and full wheel openings that show off the beautiful Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels. The Skylark also came equipped with every power option available for its time including power steering, power brakes, power windows, power convertible top, power seat, and a power antenna. With only 1,690 Skylarks being produced in 1953 this car is a rare find and is still one of the most sought after cars from the 1950's. This 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible is powered by its original, numbers matching 322 CID V8 engine, backed by a Dynaflow 2-speed automatic transmission, and running to a standard rear end with 3.60 gears all with 5,000 miles since being rebuilt. Options on this 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible include: AM Radio, Power Convertible Top, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Seat, Power Windows, Power Antenna, Leather Interior, Wire Wheels, and Wide White Wall Bias Ply Tires. This beautiful Skylark underwent a detailed 8 year long restoration which included complete rebuilding of the engine, transmission, interior, brake system, and hydraulic systems. The generator, starter, radiator and heater cores were also rebuilt along a complete detailing of the engine compartment. This Skylark also was outfitted with new wiring, side glass, rubber seals and a new battery. All the chrome on the car was replated and really sets this spectacular Buick off. The car was repainted this year in a gorgeous Matador Red base coat/clear coat paint and is accented with the correct white wheel wells and brake drums as per factory specifications. The interior is also been redone back to original appearance with the correct red and white leather upholstery is topped with the white convertible top. This car is a proven show winner as it received an AACA Senior Award back in 2003 and is sure to take many more awards home for its new owner. This is a rare gem that doesn't come along very often, especially at this caliber. This car will not only win you awards it is also a great investment piece that will continue to climb in value. 1966 Buick Convertible Barn Find Rescue, Part 1
This is the story of a '66 Buick Special convertible that had been abandoned in Arizona in 1978 by the family of Rick Pewe, editor of 4-Wheel & Off-Road magazine. In 2011, the guys from HOT ROD Magazine, in conjunction with Rick, spent four days bringing the car back from the dead with plans to drive it home from Phoenix to Los Angeles. This is part 1, with the hacking fun the guys had rescuing the car. Look for part two, loaded with road-trip hilarity. The story is printed in the September 2011 issue of HOT ROD Magazine.

1987 Buick Grand National (Regal T-Type Turbo) Start Up, Exhaust, and In Depth Review
**I made an editing error at the beginning. Thanks a bunch to Streetside Classics of Charlotte, NC for allowing me to film this video! Hello and welcome to Saabkyle04! YouTube's largest collection of automotive variety! In today's video, we will take an up close and personal in depth look at the understated muscle car of the late 80s, the Buick Grand National, this one specifically the Regal T-Type. The GN and the T-Type are identical except for badging and interior trim. It wasn't until you stepped it on up to the GNX did you get the truly different package (which I will explain in the video). The GN is arguably the most menacing looking buick of all time with it's black monochrome paint scheme and turbo charged 3.8 V6 pumping out amazing performance numbers for the time period, even today! A unique experience to be able to check out one of these beasts. During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and Exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle. FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth reviews/tour of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. 1969 Buick Skylark 400 V8 Ram Air GS Trim
I thought you might like a look at this very nice 1969 Buick Skylark. I believe this is a Skylark that has had the ram air hood and GS Trim added, but I'm not sure. Either way, it's a great looking car. The paint is slick, the black vinyl interior looks like new, and it's riding on a nice set of aftermarket rims. It also features factory A/C that still blows cold. It's definitely a nice car for the money. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for watching! 1972 Buick Skylark
1972 Buick Skylark with a Hi-Compression Buick 350-4 I've had this car since October 8th 2010, I'm a senior in High School and it is my first car, my dad payed for half of it and I payed for the other half. I pay for the performance goodies that go into it and the occasional parts that break too. I love driving this old monster even though premium gas prices are outrageous but the rumble and roar of that massive V8 are well worth it. I take pride in this car and my dad and I do most of the work on it ourselves, it's somewhat of a father-son project. We've done nothing but make this car a heck of a lot better than it was when we got it. In the great words of GS Club of America, going fast with class, that's what these Buicks do. Detials: Stock HP: 175hp (for 1972 Buick 350-4 8.5:1 compression) Rear-wheel HP: 226hp @ 4326 RPM (should be a little higher with the Hyfire and Mallory coil) Rear-wheel Tourqe: 307.8 lb-ft @ 3372 RPM (should also be a little higher) Net HP: approx. 260hp Compression: 9.5:1 (not sure, but definitely higher than stock because without prem fuel I get spark knock with the correct fuel to air mixture) Rear-end gears: 2.73:1 Open Differential (plan on getting a Limited Slip one) Transmission: turbohydramatic 350 (with a shift kit for fun :D)

1966 BUICK SKYLARK CONVERTIBLE - BUICK'S MID-SIZE MUSCLE CAR
Back in '66 car makers still offered a multitude of models to reach all market levels. Buick offered at the low end Special, followed by Skylark, LeSabre, Wildcat, Electra 225, and Riviera. What makes the mid-size Skylark a muscle car? The 2 V8 engine choices. A 300 cid, like this one with 210 hp., or a 401 cid, with 325 horses. The latter engine also available with the Skylark GS that offered more options and features. With 2,904 lbs, either V8 engine could propel this lightweight to extraordinary speed quickly. Same with the GS Skylark that weighed 3,167 lbs. So like the other intermediate size models, the Skylark is definitely Buick's muscle car. ( The Buick Wildcat model is powerful too with a 401 or 425 V8, but it is a large car sharing the Electra 225 platform. ) Thanks very much for viewing this 1966 Buick Skylark convertible.
