Cadillac's CTS-V is a musclebound powerhouse of a car, offered in coupe, sedan, and--in our case--wagon form. This is one of those 'Holy Grail' cars for enthusiasts, a car that looks great, sounds like the end of the world, and offers nuclear-level performance while carting its occupants around in a roomy, well-appointed cabin.
In short, on paper it looks perfect, especially for a wagon enthusiast like myself. And it looks great in person, too. Our test car's silver coat was offset beautifully by the optional wheels in glossy black, and brake calipers in a shade of yellow that looks like it came off a Lamborghini. The near-exotic feel was capped by the optional suede on the steering wheel and the shift lever.
On the road, the CTS-V didn't quite feel the way I was hoping it would. I'd hoped, despite the insanity of the supercharged LS3 (556 hp, 551 lb-ft of torque) that propels the wagon from 0-60 in around 4 seconds flat, that the car would dance a little bit. It doesn't, really...it simply looks for the next available stretch of highway on which it can further stupefy its driver with its ability to melt great distances down to nothing.
And that really isn't the car's fault. At Despite its great lap times and well-sorted development, there is simply a limit to what a car of this size, weight (over 4300lb), and power level can do for this amount of money. Starting at around $63,400, the CTS-V wagon offers the performance (and size, and imposing presence) of a $90,000 M5 for the price of an M3. That in itself is an accomplishment that Cadillac can be unabashedly proud of.
The fact is that this car is even more unique than the coupe and sedan versions of the CTS-V. It performs nearly as well, just a few ticks behind the lighter bodystyles in both 0-60 and 1/4-mile sprints. But it's a freaking wagon! With 25 cubic feet of cargo room with the seats up, and 68 cubes with the seats folded, it beats out many SUVs, including the BMW X5, the M version of which will just not keep up with this Caddy CTS despite costing a cool $40-50k more. You pay for it at the pump, of course, with mileage in the estimated range of 14 mpg city and 19 mpg highway. But the low entry price relative to anything that comes close performance-wise is well worth it.

Roadfly.com - 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Road Test & Review
We finally had a chance to test drive the 2011 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe. The MSRP starts at $63K and even at that price you get a ton of bang for your buck. Not to mention all that horsepower. 0-60 MPH on the CTS-V Coupe is 3.9 seconds. The supercharged V8 produces 556 horsepower.
Roadflys review of the CTS-V Coupe confirms that Cadillac is going head to head against the best the Germans have to offer. The Cadillac CTS-V by just about every test beats the Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG and BMWs M5.

Roadfly.com - 2012 Porsche Cayman R Test Drive & Car Review
The 2012 Porsche Cayman R was one of the most-anticipated cars to ever come through the Roadfly office. The car's stats are simply stunning: 0-60mph in 4.7 sec. 330hp @ 7500rpm, 2855 lb. Even the door handles have been replaced with nylon tabs to reduce weight.
The results are predictable. The Cayman R is virtually telepathic, to the point that it nearly bores you. It's so free of vice that you start to feel that it's just like a normal, civilized car, with a tad more immediacy...and you wonder what the big deal is. Only when you go back to your daily driver do you realize how responsive the Cayman actually is.
It's a nearly perfect machine. It makes few compromises that interfere with spirited driving, but still manages to be completely docile, tractable, and even practical with its two trunks and stellar reliability. It also gets great fuel mileage, at 19 city and 27 highway when equipped with the 6-speed manual.
Ever gone to a movie that didn't blow you away at first, but weeks later you're still thinking about it and can't get it out of your head? That's what my days with the Cayman R left me with. This car is definitely on my 'short list' of cars I want to own before I die. It's slightly expensive with a starting MSRP of $66,300, but given how well-built Porsches are in general and how good their resale values are, the price is fair in my opinion.

Roadfly.com - 2011 Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet Test Drive & Car Review
Depending on your perspective, Nissan has either completely broken the mold or completely jumped the shark with the new Murano CrossCabriolet.
It's a soft-top convertible SUV with no cargo compartment. And it's apparently the brainchild/pet project of Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn.
It's quite striking, and has a driving position that host Emme Hall compared to riding a mechanical bull.
It's a vanity car through and through, so rational critiques of its lack of utility or steep MSRP ($46,390) will fall on the deaf ears of the small slice of Americans that will absolutely love it.

Roadfly.com - 2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon w/Tech Package Road Test & Review
New for 2011, the TSX Sport Wagon adds an extra-strength dose of utility to Acura's entry-level model.
The addition of the wagon bodystyle gives the TSX more cargo room than competitors from Audi, BMW, and Volvo, at almost 26 cubic feet with the rear seats up, and over 60 cubic inches with the seats folded.
Powertrain options are limited: the TSX Sport Wagon comes only with the base 2.4L inline-4, paired with a 5-speed automatic.
That gets the car to 60mph in the mid-eight-second range, and delivers an EPA-rated 22 mpg city/30 mpg highway.
Priced at $34,610 (plus $860 destination charge), our fully loaded TSX Sport Wagon with Technology Package substantially undercut the starting MSRPs of competing wagons from Audi and BMW. Its huge price advantage, combined with Acura's typically excellent reliability and resale value makes this wagon an extremely smart buy.

2010 Bentley Continental vs Cadillac CTS-V
( http://www.TFLcar.com ) The 2010 Bentley Continental Suspersports will set you back $286.845 and it is the most powerful car that Bentley has ever built with a Twin turbo W-12 6.0L engine that produces 621 HP. The 2010 Cadillac CTS-V is a mere $ 68,445 and is the fastest production four door sedan on the market today with a supercharged V8 from the Corvette ZR-1 that produces 556 HP. Perhaps just as importantly the two premium luxury sports cars best demonstrate the difference of flying business vs. flying first class. So what exactly does $200,000 more buy?
