1968 AMC Ambassador SST.
This Ambassador has been in storage for a "FEW" years. It is a survivor,
with 62,000 miles. The A/C still blows cold and the car drives very nice.
I started the restoration by removing the vinyl top and welding in new
metal, No bondo.
You don't see many of these at the "cruise inn's". It is completely stock
except for the custom dual Exhaust
amc amx 304 v8
racing up at the track. just put a new intake and holly carb. big burnout
2.73 gears i believe. its a 78 amx pretty rare.

AMC 1980 AMX Spirit restoration
This is my 1980 AMC Spirit AMX. I finished restoring this car in July of
2002. This car has new paint,interior,transmission,3:73 rear and a built up
360 AMC engine producing close to 400 hp. I sold this car to finish my 86
Corvette. I miss it very much. This car had the Exhaust turned down towards the ground. It
sounded real bassy like rolling thunder. This car was super fast. I took it
to the 100th Rambler anniversary in Kenosha, WI in July 2002. With Group 19
AMC club. We also took it to Long Island, New York one summer, and I
cruised my old neighborhood. Its sad to say that I sold it to a young man
and the car is getting abused. I saw some chips and scratches on it. AMC
made awesome engines.
