2013 Lotus Esprit Paris Promo
The Lotus bonanza continues as the company has unveiled the £110,00 Esprit revival. Set to go on sale in 2013, the car features an aggressive front bumper, LED daytime driving lights, and a center-mounted dual Exhaust system. Inside, the cabin has a minimalist design with a sport steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and carbon fiber trim. Power is provided by a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine with 550 PS (405 kW / 543 hp). It is connected to a seven-speed paddle-shift transmission, which should enable the 1495 kg (3,296lb) car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in under 3.5 seconds. Of course, if that doesn't sound fast enough, Lotus will happily sell you an Esprit R with 620 PS (456 kW / 612 hp). http://www.worldcarfans.com/110093028742/lotus-esprit-revealed-in-paris---s hock-and-awe-video

Lancia Stratos Revival Tuning and Testing at the Cicuito di Balocco
Here's a video of more testing of the Lancia Stratos at the Cicuito di Balocco test track in northern Italy. The video shows a test run by driver Tiago Monteiro of a Stratos that is aiming to merge its 70s, futuristic flair with more modern technology. The Lancia Stratos revival was inspired by German car collector Michael Stoscheck and his son Maximilian. Michael Stoscheck is current head of auto parts supplier Brose. It was designed by Jason Castriota, now chief of design at Saab, and is being built by Italian coach-maker/designer Pininfarina. The Stratos will be made of a rigid carbon fiber body. Power-to-weight ratio is expected to be 2.25 kg/hp or 364 hp per tonne. Front to back weigh distribution will be around 50:50. Previous peeks into the cockpit have revealed an instrument panel with a redline of 9,000 rpm and a speedometer that reaches 360 km/h (224 mph). Production is expected to be very limited - perhaps to around 25 units. The Stratos will make its debut in at the Circuit Paul Richard in Marseille, France next month. http://www.worldcarfans.com/110100728869/lancia-stratos-revival-new-videos

BMW 1-Series M Coupe teaser video from Paris
Well, the car made it to Paris but it didn't stick around for the show. BMW has released these teaser photos of the 1-Series M Coupe posing rather coyly on the Champs d'Elysées hiding mostly behind a black veil. What we do get to see is the wider track this model is sporting as opposed to the standard 1-Series. We also get a glimpse of the air vents on the rear bumper, the outline of the undercover rear spoiler, and the previously spotted quad-Exhaust. Under the hood we suspect a twin-turbo inline 6-cylinder (the N54) dialed up to around the 350 PS (257 kW / 345 bhp) mark. The 1-Series M will likely come only with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The 1-Series M Coupe is slated for launch sometime in 2011. http://www.worldcarfans.com/110100728873/bmw-1-series-m-coupe-teaser-photos -and-video-from-paris
