2013 Cadillac ATS CUE System Demo with Lead Industrial Designer Robert Jablonski
http://www.autobytel.com/new-cars/cadillac/ats/ Autobytel recently caught
up with Robert Jablonski who is the Lead Cadillac CUE Creative Designer.
Robert, who has worked on both the Converj and Plantinum concept cars in
the past, was gracious enough to give us a demo of the new CUE system found
in the 2013 Cadillac ATS. Heck you can even learn a few tricks to help you
operate the CUE system more smoothly.
Located in the gauge cluster is a high intensity and high resolution
5.7-inch display. The new 3-spoke steering wheel has a 5-way controller and
voice recognition system. As the heart of the CUE system is an 8-inch
display and fully capacitive faceplate. The CUE system from Cadillac offers
3 brand new features:
1) Proximity Sensing - As you reach for the large display, the CUE system
senses your hand and activates.

3) Haptic Feedback -- A little vibration or pulse is sent through the
system to your finger that alerts you to the fact you have made a

as I crest the right-hander. The rear steps out slightly as I continue to
roll on the throttle and then it happens... stability control.
