Engine Explosion - Let The Pistons Hit The Floor
Think of the song by Drowning Pool and you'll see where we're headed. Mike
Roycroft unleashes destruction on his Valiant sedan unlike anything we've
ever seen before. How big a hole does it have to be to fit a complete
piston out of it? That's pretty wild.
VL Turbo has a bad day at the track.
You've got to feel sorry for this guy. First he hits the wall and then he
breaks the tailshaft. But it has some power, watch it twist up off the
Sorry guys, I finally got around to fixing the aspect ratio on this video.
Now you can watch it how it was meant to be seen. :)
I can't believe so many have watched this.
SIKGMA - Looks Aren't Everything
We were expecting alot from this crazy looking twin supercharged Sigma at
PCM but it really didn't deliver. Sure it made smoke eventually but not for
long. Hopefully they get it sorted so we can see it ripping some crazy
ULEGAL Supercharged V8 Corolla Dumps It's Guts at UBC3
Mick Brasher doesn't have much mechanical sympathy, in fact i don't think
he knows the meaning of the term. So it's no surprise that his little
Corolla would eventually lunch iteself. It's been pretty reliable so far,
but unfortunately let go at UBC3 on what was looking to be a cracker of a
Project Digger Burnout Testing
Back when the Army's Project Digger was first getting built I was invited
along to film some burnout testing. As you can see the car wasn't finished
but with time getting short before Summernats 23 they wanted to make sure
it was right to go.
Unfortunately, as a direct result of the testing they decided to not do any
burnout at Summernats that year due to cooling issues. But it sure looked
So for those that haven't seen it in action, here you go.
Crazy Torana Hatchback Crash at Sydney Dragway
This Torana hatch has a bit of power - maybe too much for those skinny
10.5in tyres. Up front it's got a blown 'n' injected big block chev and the
driver stays into the gas for little too long in the burnout. After a bit
of pitside panel beating it was back out on the track for a shakedown pass.
Wild 9sec Falcon has trouble going around corners
Now don't get me wrong, I love this car. I've been in this car doing insane
speeds down the main straight at Eastern Creek, but it's not the best car
to be fanging around corners.
But it is wickedly quick in a straight line with genuine 9sec time slips.
Not bad for a street driven car.
