Ratrod Dodge Pickup Gets Toasty Warm
The old Dodge pickup was fired up in more ways than one at Avalon speedway. It sounded like Denis has toned down the power output a tad - well it didn't sound like it was going to eat small children this time - but still delivered a kick arse performance with a bit of flame at the end.

Think of the song by Drowning Pool and you'll see where we're headed. Mike Roycroft unleashes destruction on his Valiant sedan unlike anything we've ever seen before. How big a hole does it have to be to fit a complete piston out of it? That's pretty wild.
Performance Car Mania 2011
Performance Car Mania is quickly becoming the premiere modified car event in Victoria, and it's not hard to see why. The organisers set everything up to maximise the fun for the entrants. And if the entrants are happy then the spectators are as well, because they get to see some of the coolest cars around cutting loose. The new quarter mile strip was an interesting addition and although it was a tad bumpy in places it made for some interesting racing.
We've squeezed as much action as we could into a reasonable time frame, but keep your eyes open for planty more vids from this event in the near future.
Drift Camaro - How To Enjoy a Blown Big Block Chev!
Half burnout - half drift session, this awesome display shows how much fun a blown big block Camaro can be. Peter Gray is the pilot and he's not shy in throwing the black beast around the old Springnats skid pan.
VL Turbo has a bad day at the track.
You've got to feel sorry for this guy. First he hits the wall and then he breaks the tailshaft. But it has some power, watch it twist up off the line.

Project Digger Burnout Testing
Back when the Army's Project Digger was first getting built I was invited along to film some burnout testing. As you can see the car wasn't finished but with time getting short before Summernats 23 they wanted to make sure it was right to go.
Unfortunately, as a direct result of the testing they decided to not do any burnout at Summernats that year due to cooling issues. But it sure looked good.
So for those that haven't seen it in action, here you go.
CRAZYE Torana - Breaks the wheelie bars
Filmed at Supernats in 2005, this Torana, blasts hard off the line but the wheelie bars let go and the driver gets more than he bargained for.
Best burnout ever! Bandag Bullet
16 cylinders, 4 turbos, two Superchargers. The Bandag Bullet is a tyre frying machine. It can run the standing quarter in 12 seconds, and shoots flames from the ultra short Exhausts on demand.
HB Torana loses it and hits the wall at ECR.
This is Phil Kerjean losing it in his Chevy powered HB Torana at Eastern Creek Raceway. Phil was competing in the Powerskid comp when he lost it at high speed in the top end. I believe he's still rebuilding the car.
1TUFSS Makes An Impressive Amount of Smoke
Normally we don't expect much from late model cars but this VE Commodore impressed a few with the sheer amount of smoke it was producing. It had smoke coming out of all orifices at Avalon.
Crazy Camaro Burnout
I filmed this Camaro at Melbourne's Easternats a few years back. One of the most awesome burnouts I've ever seen. Turn the volume up for this one.
