This is a video a friend and I took of his families 1978 Trans Am, they bought this car as rust bucket pretty much, and completely restored it themselves. The engine is a 455 c.i. V8, posi rear end, 3 speed automatic.

**UPDATE** This car has been sold and shipped to its new owner in June 2010. We were sad to see it go, but had fun watching everyones comments about this car. We sold it in the same condition, having only detailed the car.

1976 Trans Am with new exhaust
1976 Trans Am, 467ci engine, '71 #197 455 H.O. cylinder heads, Nunzi 244/253@0.050-inch hydraulic flat-tappet camshaft, Torker 2 intake manifold, and Holley 950 HP carburetor.
Exhaust system consists of custom-fabricated tri-y style headers by Tom Hand, 3-inch Dr. Gas x-type crossover, 2.5-inch Pypes crossflow tubing, custom stainless-steel muffler designed by Tom Hand and built by Waldon Exhaust, Pypes stainless-steel splitters.

Dyno testing and tuning a 1976 Bandit Trans Am
After the paint and decals, it was time to get this hot rod tuned up. I took it to the best muscle car guy in the Denver Metro area. Jay can squeeze every horse out of this all stock car without modifying anything. it's still all numbers matching, and after this test he's already gotten me another 38 hp. to play with.
My Custom 1978 Trans Am
My 78 trans am, everything is custom made, 4 link rear suspension, pro touring frame, 18x12 and 18x10 wheels, custom made headers and full 3 inch Exhaust with hand made 3 inch stainless split tips (larger than original but looks the same), richmond 6 speed, custom built pontiac 400, 790 HP, 820 LBS Torque, stainless tiger cage, phantom gauges, .......and sooo much more, I am in the final stages of completing this 6 year project. The scoop will be changed, I am fabricating a new one to resemble the original. Let me know what you all think.
