Another minor task completed. About all that is left is removal of the start, torque converter bolts and transmission bolts and it comes out!

Vacuum lines on 87 Camaro IROC-Z 350 TPI
I missed some detail, plus anyone see or know I have something routed wrong or missing, let me know. I know I don't have a vacuum ball in fender. and well when I bought it it was smacked pretty good on the drivers side, not sure if its for cruise control only, I will be checking into that. also I left out talking and showing the vacuum line that comes off the heater control valve, I think it runs back and routes into the firewall aswell. I did this quick vid for another member who wants to see how the lines are routed, maybe it will help some. This particular manifold isn't finished yet, but when it is, it will be heart of the induction system on a newly built 383 ci stroker engine with 195cc AFR heads. Other intake components will include, AS&M larger tube runners and a High Flow Fuel Injection ported/matched plenum and 58mm throttle body. The engine will be installed in a 1990 Corvette.

TPI Porting Secrets. Runners. High Flow Fuel Injection. Ported L98.
This video shows a simple porting procedure done to stock TPI runners that will allow for a smoother transition of airflow from the plenum to the runners and into the base manifold. Tools used are: Carbide open flute non ferrous bit, for use with aluminum. 2" long x 1/2" diameter 80 grit cartridge rolls on a short 2-3" mandrel. High speed die grinder and air supply.

Turbo TPI Iroc - Modded ZZ3 350 13 psi - First day at drag strip runs 7.71 at 92.2 mph on radials
Best run of the day and it was on a 1.84 60 foot, so easily could have ran a 7.5x on sticky tires. I was just about the only person on regular radials today. Soon I need to get a bigger turbo and it should open the doors to some low 7's. All in all I'm pretty pleased although I had expected my mph to be closer to 94-95. Engine is a ZZ3 crate motor modded to forged internals. See my other vids for more specs





Turbo TPI Fbody fuel rail restriction modification - experimental supplemental fuel line
I'm having problems with loss of fuel pressure during Boost. Since I have a Walbro 255 pump, I figured I'd eliminate any known restrictions in the fuel system. On Fbody TPI fuel rails, there is a .100" diameter restrictor inside the fuel rail just behind the fuel supply line. The only way to remove it is to cut off the fuel supply line and tap the fuel rail for a new fitting. Instead of going that route, I'm running a second fuel line (with 6AN connectors) from the fuel supply line to the cold start injector fitting on the rear of the fuel rail.
