These are the first couple of race meetings after a 7 year build,car is legally street registered(with lower injection stacks)and is driven to most race meetings.

A LITTLE POWERHOUSE - 1975 DODGE DART SE, SPECIAL EDITION
THE BASIC BODY DESIGN OF THIS DART WAS A CARRY OVER FROM PREVIOUS YEARS. BUT DODGE DIVISION MADE SOME TRIM CHANGES. THEY STARTED WITH MORE BRIGHT MOLDING ON THE BELT LINE, WHEEL OPENINGS, AND SILL. PINSTRIPING OPTIONS WERE ADDED AND COULD BE APPLIED IN GOLD OR RED. NOTICE THE BLACK HOOD SCOOPS AND RACING STRIPES.. COLOR KEYED WHEEL COVERS FOR E78 X 14" WHITE SIDE WALL TIRES WERE ADDED. THE DART SE SPECIAL EDITION WAS A MUSCLE CAR CONFIGURATION WITH A 360 V-8 ENGINE FOR THIS MID-SIZE LIGHT WEIGHT. FRONT ANTI SWAY BAR WAS STANDARD. SO WAS A CATALYTIC CONVERTER. NO OTHER MUSCLE CARS COMPETING WITH THE DART HAD THIS FEATURE YET. DUAL HORNS WERE STANDARD. HEAVY DUTY SUSPENSION FOR THE SE WAS STANDARD. SO WAS THE NEW CHROME PLATED GRILL. THIS SPECIAL DART CAME WITH A 3 SPEED WIPER, NOT AVAILABLE WITH OTHER COMPETITORS. AUTOMATIC 3 SPEED TRANNYS WERE STANDARD. GEAR LEVERS WERE THE TRADITIONAL ON THE COLUMN BUT ONE COULD ORDER A FLOOR MOUNTED SHIFTER AT AN EXTRA COST. OR, IF YOU COULD AFFORD, ORDER A 4 SPEED HURST SHIFTER ON THE DART SPORT WITH THE RALLYE PACKAGE. FULL VINYL ROOFS CAME IN RED, GREEN, WHITE, BLACK, AND PARCHMENT. SPECIAL PAINT FEATURE FOR THE SE WAS THE UP AND OVER PAINT STRIPE LOCATED OVER THE REAR QUARTER PANELS AND THESE COULD BE ORDERED IN BLACK, WHITE, AND GOLD. DASHBOARDS HAD SIMULATED WOOD GRAIN ACROSS THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE WHOLE DASH WAS NON-REFLECTING. THE GUAGES STARING AT THE DRIVER WERE ENGINE TEMP, ALTERNATOR, FUEL, OIL PRESSURE, AND BRAKE MALFUNCTION. NEW FABRICS WERE OFFERED FOR THE INTERIOR ALONG WITH REDESIGNED BUCKET SEATS. A VELOUR UPHOSTERY COULD BE ORDERED AS IS SHOWN WITH THIS EXAMPLE. NEW ADDITIONAL BODY COLORS OFFERED THIS YEAR WERE RED, GOLD, SILVER, AND CINNAMON. THE WHEELBASE IS 108", OVERALL LENGTH - 200.3", AND THE WIDTH WAS 71.8" .
SALES OF THE DART SE SPECIAL EDITION CAME TO 6,578, MAKING THIS ANOTHER RARE AUTOMOTIVE EXAMPLE THAT IS SELDOM SEEN TODAY ESPECIALLY IN THE CONDITION OF THIS SHOW CAR.
