MIR - World Cup Finals Imports vs Domestics, Nov 5-6 2011. True Street Round 1 qualifying, Jeff Evans ran a record setting 8.98 @ 167mph, first 67mm True Street car to run an 8second pass. Qualified #1, then disaster lost control and hit the wall. Jeff was ok.

The driver (Jeffrey Evans) reached to pull the parachute release and was not "celebrating" as some have posted. He and MacBook Pro made it out unharmed.
