MIR - World Cup Finals Imports vs Domestics, Nov 5-6 2011. True Street Round 1 qualifying, Jeff Evans ran a record setting 8.98 @ 167mph, first 67mm True Street car to run an 8second pass. Qualified #1, then disaster lost control and hit the wall. Jeff was ok.

The driver (Jeffrey Evans) reached to pull the parachute release and was not "celebrating" as some have posted. He and MacBook Pro made it out unharmed. This car set the record for the True Street Class and was the first in the 8's. The specs: - 2550lbs - 67mm Borg Warner turbo @ 35psi - 24.5 x 9" tires

MIR - World Cup Finals Imports vs Domestics, Nov 5-6 2011. All Motor Quarter Finals, This was a great race with alot to be settled as this would have been the Finals at the All Motor shootout at Englishtown. There was a great burn down to start and Norris finally bumped in, Jake got the slight edge at the lights .141 to .158, but spun to a 1.72 60ft and still Ran 10.258 @ 134 in a losing effort to Norris's 10.21 @ 134.

MIR - World Cup Finals Imports vs Domestics, Nov 5-6 2011. Super Street Round 2 Eliminations. Franklin Vu of Avid Racing joined the Elite 8second FWD Street Car club, and the smaller 24.5 8second club with this pass. BYTuning, Dynamic Performance and Jason Hunt also helped making this possible.
