2013 Mustang V6 - Borla Headers *Offroad* + Borla Ataks + Ghost Cams
I finally got to install some borla headers on my 2013 V6. Ordered from AM
and installed by a local mieneke.
Results, well its loud. Crazy loud! I had just the borla ataks before and
it was loud but with the borla headers running catless its insane. Atleast
4 times louder than before under daily driving :P, and dont get we started
when at WOT. With the new sound comes drone and raspyness. once u touch the
throttle its roars and after 3k rpm it goes all out raspy. It allso
backfires and pops like crazy, especially when i engage the clutch. sounds
like gunfire. I had a state trooper looking at me like WTF is that, thank
god he didnt pull me over but instead pulled someone else over (caught it

2011 Mustang V6 3.7L BBK Long Tube Headers and Off Road X-Pipe
Just installed the BBK Long Tube Headers and BBK Off Road X-Pipe. These are
the mods that I had before the install: C&L Cold Air Intake, Bama 93 Custom
Tune, Roush Axle Back Exhaust. The
install is very easy however the only issue I came across was the fact that
BBK sent me the wrong O2 Sensor Extensions. They told me that no one makes
them yet and I also found in the forums people that were complaining about
the same thing. The fix they suggested was to solder an extension that is
exactly what I did and it worked perfectly. This setup is EXTREMELY loud
and I think the Roush has alot to do with it. It was already a little drony
at 3000RPM before the LTs and now its even more. I am going to get a Dyno with this setup and
then im going to slap on the stock Exhaust to see how it sounds. I will post videos
for those 2 things for sure. I also just received the Bama Custom Tune that
took the long tube headers into account and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Highly
recommend BBK and OR X-Pipe with the Bama Tune by American Muscle...

2013 Ford Mustang. I did
this at my old job at a car rental agency since I don't yet own a Mustang, though I have sought
financing options for a 2013 GT500, not this V6 Mustang. This is still a very nice
car, but just not enough horsepower for me ;)
This 2013 Mustang has an
aluminum block V6 engine mated to a Getrag-Ford MT82 6-speed automatic
transmission, though a 6-speed manual is also available. Electric power
steering replaces the conventional pre-2011 hydraulic version. The new 3.7
L (3.72 L or 227 cu. in.) aluminum block V6 engine shaves 40 lb (18 kg)
from the outgoing, pre-2011 model year version. With 24 valves and Twin
Independent Variable Cam Timing (TiVCT), it produced 305 hp (227 kW) and
280 lb·ft (380 N·m) of torque.V6 remains rated at 305 hp (227 kW) and 280
lb·ft (380 N·m). HID headlights are now standard on all models.
