1988 Mazda RX-7 STK 1394
The 1988 Mazda RX-7 was voted one of the best rag tops available in 1988.
The top had a removable section that would then fit into a predestinated
place in the trunk. This was a first for convertible. Also the rear "wind
screen" was first developed in the Mazda. Two huge improvements for
convertibles at the time. This car comes equipped great red paint and
honeycomb style wheels.
Inside you find a huge array of buttons and switches. However, they are
all so conveniently placed that as soon as you sit down you feel as if you
already know where everything is. The grey buckets seats still have that
supportive racy feel to them and these cars even came with speakers in the
The 7 is powered by a 1.3 liter Rotary engine producing around 160 horsepower. The steering
input is very responsive as well as the throttle control. This car
defiantly has a lot of spirit left in it. Come check it out today.

Mazda RX-7 Spitting Huge Flames from Exhaust!
When I was driving back from an event, this turbocharged Mazda RX-7 FD3S passed me in a

Handbuilt 4-Rotor Engine
This was a project that took about five years of weekends to put together.
There was a lot of trial and error as jury-rigged parts were improvised and
revised, leaks were identified and plugged, and byzantine electrical
diagrams were decoded. It still does not run smoothly, as there likely is
a problem with the intake system that has prevented smooth timing at idle.
But she runs!
lots of people wanted to know where the E-shaft came from: it was custom
ordered from a shop in New Zealand.
