Dodge Viper ACR racing at Daytona International Speedway with PBOC and Viper Days
Here is a 10 min video of Chad McNiel and David McNiel trip to Daytona - First are random pictures of the cars and track and then on to racing.... Chad Raced his SRT-4 Neon in the Challenge group of Viper Days and PBOC Florida Chapter and hit speeds in the 140's.... Me, well I in the race group and was toping out around 170 on the main straight...The track was fairly challenging and was very fast. A ton of walls and things to hit if you went off - During the 2-hour endurance race on Saturday 4 cars had blowouts - 2 of which hit the wall and had a lot of damage.... I think they learned a lot about proper tire pressures that day. Lots of cars from raced from BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, corvette and Comp Coupe Viper and yes the Dodge Viper ACR; Kevin Ferguson and Brad Gorrondana from the Dallas area with their ACRs were with us too.

A day at the track with David McNiel of EMS Racing and the new Dodge Viper ACR-X.... This was taken at MotorSports Ranch Cresson TX February 2010. Dodge brought out the ACR-X for testing and display at the Viper Day's event... I had an opportunity to run with the car in one of the sessions.
Ford GT40 Lapping at Daytona International Speedway (Onboard)
This is a 1966 model GT40 Mk.I doing a demonstration run at Daytona International Speedway's 24-hour course. The car is driven by world-renowned factory-driver Bill Adams with a passenger who won a charity demo drive. Filmed during the HSR Continental Vintage Races, the car was on track with some CanAm cars practicing for their upcoming race. This GT40 won the US Vintage Grand Prix in its class and later won the New York Governor's Cup Race. It is a continuation model built by Superformance and is chassis number GT40P/2090. This is session 3 with NASA at Motor Sports Ranch Hoston TX. January 31, 2009. It's my first time at this track.... It's a great track with lots of speed and turns - I hope to go back again soon.

Gumball3000 2009 Santa Monica Start Part 1
This is the 2009 Gumball 3000 start in Santa Monica on their way to the drift competition in Anaheim followed by Las Vegas. Look out for the gold-wrapped Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and the gold-wrapped 750Li along with the fully carbon fiber murcielago. Please excuse the shaky hand and the lack of good tire squeel (popo was very strict about this). Look out for Part 2 to hear the Toyota Prius peeling out first!

Daytona International Speedway Project is OVER !
On Wednesday, December 15, the Daytona International Speedway came back to life after a massive repaving project starting after the July 2010 race. This day, 18 vehicles hit the track to test it and tires. I was there... the magic words were back... I tried to do them like a true race fan, not like some of those wimpy ones during the races... but then again, there were a few good ones during the season..
