2012 Mustang GT 5.0L Mufflers: Stock vs GT500 vs None
The first shot is of the stock GT mufflers on my 2012 GT 5.0 manual. 2nd shot is with the SVT GT500 mufflers installed from Ford Racing. And for fun, the 3rd shot is without any mufflers at all (notice how it makes the camera go slightly out of focus from it being so loud lol).

Driver's note: A few slow shifts are the result me taking caution as the Goodyear Eagle F1 tires were not 100% warm. Also, gigantic, uneven expansion joints on highway bridges and overpasses are the reason for the random throttle lifts at 0:16 & 2:05. During both 4 - 5 gear shifts at about 155 MPH, I was approaching expansion joints that warranted a brief speed check.
Hear the rockin' LS7, 7.0 Liter V8 roar from inside this Velocity Yellow Corvette ZO6 and out with several flybys and redline shifts that crackle and pop as the car preps for the next gear ratio. Quite a few highway and street pulls including 20-160 MPH and 120-180 MPH. Watch this monster pull away at full throttle through the gears and then disperse a cloud of brake dust while converting its speed into heat.
A BMW 335i coupe decided he wanted to try and overtake this beast -- and failed.

Sonoma Drift Season Opener 2012 "Skrillex - Levels"
Sonoma Drift is back at it for 2012 with a bang! Heres a little clip from March 7, 2012 at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma California. Featured drivers are from all over Northern California. Weekly events will be held every Wednsday night throughout the summer of 2012.
Wednesdays at Infineon Raceway are about to get a little sideways, as the raceway welcomes back Sonoma Drift!
Sonoma Drift, which will run in conjunction with the weekly Wednesday Night Drags program, will provide a safe, legal and controlled environment in which professionals and amateurs can hone their drifting skills. Drifting is a high-skill motor sport that calls for drivers to control a high-horsepower car while it slides sideways at high speed through a marked course. Drivers are judged on execution and style rather than who finishes the course fastest.
Each week, racers will compete on a specially-created course in the Infineon Raceway paddock area. Entries are expected to range from 600-horsepower Nissan 350zs to American-made muscle cars. All cars must pass a simple technical inspection before drifting competition begins at 4:30 p.m.
