Peugeot 406 Timing Belt Change
Changing a timing belt on a peugeot 406 2.0 HDi 110 DW10ATED The car has around 122,000 miles and apparently it had a new belt put on at 79,000 miles but there was no receipts so to be sure i changed it. It is quite an involved job, a lot of things to do and it needs to be done right otherwise it can wreck the cars engine. I would recommend reading the Haynes Manual and this, and reading them a number of times to fully understand what is involved: http://www.406oc.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=8229#p79298 The tensioning procedure i did not show completely in the video as its hard to show on camera and its best if you read the guide to see how its done. I also replaced the water pump as its good to do when your in there, the crankshaft oil seal was leaking hence all the oil/sludge in the area, engine degreaser was used liberally to clean up the area and timing belt covers before putting the new belt on. Videos that will also help: Crankshaft pulley replacement: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XDTot5kRAG0 Filling coolant and bleeding the cooling system on a HDi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vssQVTSWLGo I hope this video helps to show what is involved with a timing belt change on a 2.0 HDi DW10ATED engine, but i strongly recommend that you read the manual and the other guides. I only intend for this video to help and condense the timing belt replacement procedure, any suggestions on how to do things differently are welcome.

Honda Prelude 1994 H23A Motor Replacement
We swapped out the existing H23A which had just had $3,000 worth of head replacement done. The crank bearings lasted a couple of weeks after the head was done so we decided to replace the whole thing. Juli, Alex and Patrick picked up a H23A with 200,000klms, from Casino NSW in December 2011. We swapped the motor over the Christmas break. The replacement engine is great. No smoke (checked at night with a torch), runs smooth. No crank walk.

How to repair a honda fuel pump relay

timing belt walking and settling h22a4
I installed the timing belt and adjusted the kaizenspeed auto tensioner so that the belt has the appropriate tensioner but when I turn the crank it seems to walk a little off the intake cam and settle hanging off the edge of the cam ~1mm. What could be causing this? Update: i was able to fix this problem. what happened for me was i had to redo all my work. if you are using the kaizenspeed tensioner, it can be too tight or too loose which will cause the timing belt to walk. at first i thought it was one of the bolts that held the auto tensioner assembly was bent, most likely the one that holds the water pump in the block. i would try redoing your work and putting on the balance shaft belt. check the tension for both belts and see if it continues to walk.
