The Volkswagen Type 1, widely known as the Volkswagen Beetle or Volkswagen Bug, is an economy car produced by the German auto maker Volkswagen (VW) from 1938 until 2003. With over 21 million manufactured[6] in an air-cooled, rear-engined, rear-wheel drive configuration, the Beetle is the longest-running and most-manufactured automobile of a single design platform anywhere in the world. The same body appeared during 1966, with a 1,300 cc engine in place of the 1,200 cc engine: it was only in the 1973 model Super Beetle that the Beetle acquired an obviously curved windscreen. The flat windscreen remained on the standard Beetle. Nissan Titan vs Ford F150 Supercharged Harley Davidson
My friend and I wanted to take our trucks for a few runs. F-150 SC is straight pipes, no muffler and Nissan Titan is tuned with UpRev, hi-flow cats, super 44 flowmaster muffler and dual cutouts. On the second complete stop run, I spun all 1st gear and on the last run, he spun bad as well. Great race!

DuraMax Diesel Truck Drag Racing RaceLegal.com 5-4-2012
race your ride at qualcom stadium 1/8 mile drag strip duramax diesel truck gmc sierra four wheel drive trucks drag racing The Duramax is a General Motors diesel engine family for light- and medium duty trucks, designed by Isuzu. The 6.6-liter Duramax is produced by DMAX, a joint venture between GM and Isuzu in Moraine, Ohio. This engine was initially installed in 2001 model year Chevy and GMC trucks and has been an option since then in pickups, vans, and medium-duty trucks. In 2006, production at Moraine was reportedly limited to approximately 200,000 engines per year.[1] On May 9, 2007, DMAX announced the production of the 1,000,000th Duramax V-8 diesel at its Moraine facility.[1] The 2006 LLY (engine code "2") debuted in the beginning of 2006 and ended production with the start of the 2007 calendar year. Mechanically it is identical to the LBZ and is mated to the new 6-speed Allison transmission however it retained the LLY designation. The LBZ (engine code "D") debuted in late 2006 and continued into 2007 sold only in the "classic" body style. It has a more powerful tune loaded into the computer that allows it to produce more power and torque. Changes include: Cylinder block casting and machining changes strengthen the bottom of the cylinder bores to support increased power and torque Upgraded main bearing material increases durability Revised piston design helps lower compression ratio to 16.8:1 from 17.5:1 Piston pin bore diameter increased for increased strength Connecting rod " I " section is thicker for increased strength Cylinder heads revised to accommodate lower compression and reduced cylinder firing pressure Maximum injection pressure increased from 23,000 psi (1,585.8 bar) to more than 26,000 psi (1,792.6 bar) Fuel delivered via higher-pressure pump, fuel rails, distribution lines and all-new, seven-hole fuel injectors Fuel injectors spray directly onto glow plugs, providing faster, better-quality starts and more complete cold-start combustion for reduced emissions Improved glow plugs heat up faster through an independent controller Revised variable-geometry turbocharger is aerodynamically more efficient to help deliver smooth and immediate response and lower emissions Air induction system re-tuned to enhance quietness EGR has larger cooler to bring more Exhaust into the system First application of new, 32-bit E35 controller, which adjusts and compensates for the fuel flow to bolster efficiency and reduce emissions" LBZ applications: Chevrolet Silverado HD Chevrolet Kodiak GMC Sierra HD GMC TopKick LLY applications: Chevrolet Silverado HD Chevrolet Kodiak GMC Sierra HD Chevrolet Express full-size (reduced power output mated to a 4L85E transmission) GMC Savana full-size (reduced power output mated to a 4L85E transmission) [edit] SpecificationsEngine type: 6,599 cc (402.7 cu in) V8 turbo Bore x Stroke: 4.06 in (103 mm) x 3.90 in (99 mm) Block / Head: Cast gray iron / Cast aluminum Aspiration: turbocharged & Intercooled Valvetrain: OHV 4-V Compression: 16.8:1 Injection: Bosch High Pressure Common-rail Power / Torque: Latest Race Winners -- Friday, May 4th, 2012: BEST REACTION TIME William Urbaniak -- 1995 Chevy Blazer -- R/T .506 PRO STREET QUICKEST ET 1st PLACE Antonio Loya --1992 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX R/T .504 ET 7.187 @ 99.11 mph MODIFIED STREET QUICKEST ET 1st PLACE Eric Anderson -- 1990 Nissan 240SX -- R/T .605 ET 7.647 @ 91.83 mph FAST STREET QUICKEST ET 1st PLACE Jessica Kameyama -- 1995 Honda Civic R/T .1.014 ET 9.506 @ 72.69 mph FAST STREET QUICKEST ET 2nd PLACE Richard Braganza --1992 Honda Prelude R/T .650 ET 9.507 @ 76.92 mph SUPER STREET QUICKEST ET 1st PLACE James Ralph -- 2000 Pontiac Trans Am R/T .559 ET 9.003 @ 82.57 mph SUPER STREET QUICKEST ET 2nd PLACE Eric Navarete -- 2010 Dodge Challenger R/T .689 ET 9.018 @ 82.12 mph STREET STOCK QUICKEST ET 1st PLACE Armando Flores--1990 Honda Civic R/T .516 ET 10.106 @ 69.44 mph STREET STOCK QUICKEST ET 2nd PLACE Raymond Febre -- 2000 Honda Civic R/T .818 ET 10.109 @ 69.55 mph
