Animated 3D model of the internal workings of a Porsche 917 engine. Model was created in Solidworks. 180 individual frames, representing 2 full engine revolutions, were then rendered in PhotoView 360. First 180 frames are repeated 3 times to produce 30 seconds of video at 24 FPS. Each frame took approximately 20 minutes to render with a resolution of 1280 X 1024.
How to Start a Yamaha after it's been left for years in the garden
Here we have a 1985 Yamaha FZ750. It is the very rare 2GH model as ridden
by Eddie Lawson in the 1986 Daytona 200 to victory with full livery by Troy
Lee Designs. Sadly it has been left for years outside in a garden with the
sea air/rain on it with nothing but a sheet over it. I have removed the
petrol tank to access the fuel supply and have repaired some of the faulty
wiring which probably was the cause of this superbikes demise. I am now
going to completely strip the bike down and restore her to her former
while I welcome constructive comments, I will not tolerate foul language,
swear words and any racist or other comments which may be deemed offensive
to some people

Start und lauf von zwei Sternmotoren.
Zuerst läuft der kleinere Wilga Sternmotor mit 10L Hubraum.
Anschliessend wird der Antonov Sternmotor mit 30 Litern Hubraum und 1000PS
vorbereitet und gestartet. Das war ein eindrucksvolles Erlebnis. Die
Lautstärke ist unvorstellbar!

Torque Converters Explained -EricTheCarGuy

In this video I cover the purpose and operation of the turbine, stator,
impeller, and torque converter clutch. I hope the explanation and
practical give you some insight into how these parts work to not only
transfer power from the engine to the transmission, but also how it drives
the transmission pump and doubles the torque output of the engine when you
take off from a dead stop. I've wanted to make this video for some time.
In fact I've had the fans sitting in the back of the shop for almost a
year. Now that I have the Automatic Transmission Dissection video under my
belt I thought I would add a torque converter dissection into the mix. I
hope you enjoy this video and that it gets you a better understanding of
torque converter operation. Especially since I killed my air compressor
cutting this one in half.
