in the couple of days prior to this video clip being shot, I had finally gave in and swapped out the left rear studs for right hand thread studs. So I got to slap on the chrome lug nuts and sport the hubcapLESS super stock look.

I thought you'd like a look at this 1969 Plymouth Road Runner in action.
It's powered by a 383 V8, with an Edelbrock intake, 4 BBL carb, coated
headers, and Air Grabber induction. All the power is being funneled through
a hurst shifted four-speed manual back to an 8 3/4 rear. This car runs out
strong and it's in absolutely immaculate condition. It's as clean in the
engine bay and underneath the car as it is on the outside. The interior
looks showroom new as well. This car is a proven show winner as well. I hop

1971 Plymouth GTX that I've been working on getting back on the road. We
got it as a "almost running" car. "Almost running" was somewhere between
very generous and flat out false. We've ended up replacing all the bushings
in the suspension and rebuilding the engine and the brakes. Now it's
getting to the point that it's driveable and hoo-boy is it a hoot. Always
fun to do the no tag, no muffler shakedown run :)
Here's some specs:
440cu (7.2L) V8 with 727 Torqeflite reverse manual valve body; 8 3/4 rear
end with 3.91 gearset. All going out to a pair of 15x10 Centerline rims
with BF Goodrich 295/50R15 tires. Still not sure if we're going to be
putting in the 4-speed or keeping the brutal automatic. Such a fun car. My
little camera can't capture the amount of noise this thing puts out. It
currently is just running around an old set of 2.5" pipes with no mufflers
that end somewhere under the rear seats.

The Plymouth GTX was introduced as the top of the line Belvedere, and
Richard Petty won the Grand National championship in NASCAR in a Belvedere.
The new LA-style lightweight 318 engine was introduced for this year and
would remain available on the Belvedere through its life.
In 1968, the line was restyled with a roofline changed to follow the
Charger, standard flip-out rear quarter windows (that would also be used in
1969), and "Coke bottle styling."
The Belvedere name was dropped at the end of the 1970 model year, replaced
by the Plymouth Satellite name originally reserved for higher-end
Belvederes. The Satellite itself lasted only through 1974; starting in
1975, the car was renamed Plymouth Fury, and the longer-wheelbase Plymouth
Fury became the Gran Fury.
