E85 Lancer Ralliart Update
Here's an update on my 2009 Lancer Ralliart Build! It made 285whp/310wtq at 28.5psi on E85 Ethanol. Maxed out the stock turbo! On a Dynojet I would be making 330whp/350wtq approx. My SST clutch packs are now slipping so my trans will be sent out on the 3rd of March for a complete build with 500whp Clutch Packs. You can hear and see my clutches slipping under WOT. I usually do not do WOT pulls on my car while my trans is compromised but I made an exception for this video. For those who do not know: The Lancer Ralliart has All-Wheel Drive and the turbocharged 4B11 seen in the Evo X, the suspension is radically different as is the brakes. It makes 237Crank horsepower and 253 lbft/torque stock. Mods are as follows: Engine/Drivetrain: FIC 900CC Injectors Walboro 255 Fuel Pump UR Short Ram Intake ETS 3'' Front Mount Intercooler AMS Upper Intercooler Pipe AMS Lower Intercooler Pipe FFtec Boost Control Solenoid Evo X NGK Spark Plugs FFtec E85 Ethanol Tune STOCK turbo: March 2014- MAP Performance EF3 turbo Upgrade Exhaust: Cobb 3'' SS Downpipe Cobb 3'' High Flow CAT AMS Twin Tip Exhaust Cooling: Mishimoto Radiator (Not installed in Video) Agency Power Radiator Hoses Suspension: BC Racing Coilovers Brakes: AMS SS Brake Lines Project MU Pads Stoptech Cryo Slotted Rotors Transmission For this video: Stock SST, slipping clutches March 3, 2014: Full trans build from JACKS TRANS- 500hp Clutch Packs MISC: AEM Wideband AFR Gauge AEM Boost Gauge TRF Full Aluminum Skidplate Evo X Seibon CF Rear Wing E85 Flex Fuel Emblem CF Rear Mitsu Diamond Emblem CF Wrapped Roof Evo X MR BBS Forged Wheels CF Shorty Antenna EVO X Engine Cover

But IF the Evo is the greatest 'all-round' car in the world then which version of the car is best? Our finalists are: Mitsubishi Evo 10 FQ 360 Mitsubishi Evo 09 FQ 360 Mitsubishi Evo 06 Tommy Makkinen Special Great rally action and TFL's patented 'ASBO whiplash test'...

WRX Takes On Ralliart: Subaru vs. Mitsubishi
FOR MORE WRX VS. RALLIART: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=138347??tid= edmunds.il.home.photopanel..2.* Stuff the 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX into a corner, and you know it deserves a rematch with the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart. It's no less refined than the 2008 WRX, but it goes in without paralyzing understeer and doesn't keel over as soon as you load the outside tires. Provoke it and you'll get some attitude. When you're back on the throttle hard at the exit, there's no rush to grab 3rd gear. Rescued from last year's rev-starved funk, the 2.5-liter boxer-4 engine wants to see its 6,500-rpm redline again. Most important, the 2009 Subaru Impreza WRX isn't trying so hard to distance you from the drive. It rewards your efforts in the cockpit — one of the things that made the previous-generation WRX so likable. Probably this is also why the 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart is so involving to drive. Introduced last summer, this Lancer Ralliart is the long-awaited head-on challenge to the WRX dynasty and it kicked the 2008 WRX while it was down. Even compared to the 2009 WRX, Mitsubishi's Ralliart is a flashier package. It has mechanical limited-slip differentials both front and rear, a very neat automated dual-clutch gearbox, Recaro seats and the schnoz of a tiger shark. Evo Jr. has a nice stiff chassis, too. If the homely gray Subaru has any shot at winning here, it will have to do more with less.

Street Fight: WRX v Lancer Ralliart v Mazdaspeed 3
CHECK OUT THE SPORT COMPACT COMPARISON: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Comparos/articleId=128908?tid=e dmunds.il.home.photopanel..1.* Thanks to three turbochargers, 724 horsepower and five limited-slip differentials, comparing the 2008 Mazdaspeed 3, 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX and 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart should be more entertaining than a cage match between Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and New Kids on the Block. Imagine the fun! Donny and Danny hangin' tough from the walls of the cage while Joey, Jordan and Jonathan get tossed into the crowd. The way we see it, our Rampage vs. New Kids bout is no different from pitting the Mazdaspeed 3 — the current champ of the sport compact world — against the Lancer Ralliart and Subaru WRX. On the track, an epic ass-kicking is bound to ensue. But comparison tests aren't always won on the track. Since these cars all share a focus on real-world driving for enthusiasts, we weighted performance as 25 percent of this test's scoring total, leaving the remaining points to price (20 percent), feature content (20 percent), fuel economy (15 percent), our subjective evaluation (15 percent) and personal and recommended picks (5 percent). So performance is important, but in the end, the most well-rounded car wins.
