Pontiac Ventura - Hot Rod Red - Quick Blast Down the Road
We took the my friend's Ventura out for a ride the other day. We'll have to do a better quality vid in the future, but I'll post this one for now. The powerful sound coming out of that thing just overpowered my camera's mic and you really don't get a good sense of the speed involved. I'll get my mic rigged up correctly and get a video from outside the car one of these days.

96 Mercury Cougar XR7 4.6V8, Hot Rod Red, Quick Blast to Check Camera Audio
Testing out the mic on the camera to see if it can capture the sound of a
much quieter car. The hot rods I've been trying to film lately have been
too loud. It seems the Cougar proved to be too loud as well, sounded a bit
like a space shuttle launch. I'm going to have to devise a better way to
capture the sound. Not an all-out tire smoking launch, but still a mildly
entertaining look out the windshield.
Ethan's CO2 Rocket Car Project
Our neighbor kid, Ethan, built this CO2 Rocket Car and he brought it over
to show us. I thought you might find it interesting. It even fishtails a
bit as it launches. Hope you like it.

This is just a real quick video of the Pontiac starting up and pulling out
of the garage. I apologize for the sound quality, the volume overpowered my
cameras microphone. I hope to post some footage in the future of it
tearing down the road. We tried this day, but the quality of the vid is
terrible. We'll find a way to make a great one next time. When you hear
this car in all it's glory it will give you chills.
The car is equipped with a small block Chevy, Holley Double Pumper Carb,
Muncie M21 4spd, and spooled rear with 4.33 Gears. The car is full of
seldom seen parts, clever little speed tricks, and it's really well sorted

friends 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Fuel Injected Convertible more than a few
times, BUT!!!!! Here is THE RARE OF THE VERY RARE!!!! A 1958 PONTIAC
BONNEVILLE FACTORY FUEL INJECTED 2 door hardtop for your consideration!!! I
HAVE NEVER SEEN ONE IN OVER 40 years of being in the old car hobby, NEVER!!
I have seen a few 58 TRI POWER BONNEVILLE'S, BUT NEVER a 58 FUEL INJECTED
CAR!!! There were just (630), 1957 Pontiac FUEL INJECTED cars built, and
all were Bonneville convertibles. When 1958 came along there were only
(400) FUEL INJECTED BONNEVILLE CARS BUILT (TOTAL) BETWEEN CONVERTIBLES AND
HARDTOPS!!! So this 58 FI Bonneville is NO DOUBT ONE OF THE RAREST OF ALL
GENERAL MOTORS CARS EVER TO BE PRODUCED!!! AND SHE IS A BEAUTY AND WITH NO
RUST EVER, AND I MEAN NO RUST EVER!!!! She has had one repaint (THE PAINT

John DeLorean replaced Pete Estes as general manager, and he continued the
same emphasis on performance that Bunkie Knudsen and Estes had begun.
The big news for 1964 For 1964, the Tempest and LeMans' transaxle design
was dropped and the cars were redesigned under GM's new A body platform;
frame cars with a conventional front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. The
most important of these is the GTO, short for "Gran Turismo Omologato," the
Italian for "Grand Touring, Homologated" used by Ferrari as a badge to
announce a car's official qualification for racing. In spite of a GM
unwritten edict against engines larger than 330 ci in intermediate cars,
DeLorean (with support from Jim Wangers from Pontiac's ad agency), came up
with the idea to offer the GTO as a dealer option package that included a
389 ci engine rated at 325 or 348 horsepower (260 kW).
