Pontiac Ventura - Hot Rod Red - Quick Blast Down the Road
We took the my friend's Ventura out for a ride the other day. We'll have to do a better quality vid in the future, but I'll post this one for now. The powerful sound coming out of that thing just overpowered my camera's mic and you really don't get a good sense of the speed involved. I'll get my mic rigged up correctly and get a video from outside the car one of these days.
1976 Pontiac Ventura Street or Drag, Hot Rod Red, Quick Start and Idle
This is just a real quick video of the Pontiac starting up and pulling out of the garage. I apologize for the sound quality, the volume overpowered my cameras microphone. I hope to post some footage in the future of it tearing down the road. We tried this day, but the quality of the vid is terrible. We'll find a way to make a great one next time. When you hear this car in all it's glory it will give you chills.
The car is equipped with a small block Chevy, Holley Double Pumper Carb, Muncie M21 4spd, and spooled rear with 4.33 Gears. The car is full of seldom seen parts, clever little speed tricks, and it's really well sorted out.
Great Home Garage Set-up - Complete with a Lift, Heat and A/C, Paint booth, and Musclecars
I thought might be interested in this cool home garage and the owner was nice enough to let me look around. It would be great for anyone that works on their own cars. It's equipped with a lift, heat and a/c, paint booth, welders, bead blaster, and even has some great mopars parked inside. It has everything you need to get the job done and it looks good too. As an added bonus, the owner's son happened to have his extremely stout running Pontiac Ventura over there today. We'll be showing this car in action in a future vid. Thanks for looking, hope you like it.
1966 VW Beetle Restored and a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am 10th Anniversary
Stopped by a cool place up in Staunton, IL called Country Classic Cars. I filmed this 66 VW Beetle for one of my subscribers, msteele323, because he's into VW's. While I was there, I also filmed the 79 Pontiac Trans Am which is one of my favorites as well. Hope you like the vid. Thanks.

The Short Life Of A 1930 Ford Hot Rod, Pontiac Power
A story in images, funky video and music of the short life of a 1930 Ford hot rod, 1963 389 Pontiac power, backed by M-21. Built with care to resemble a period car as closely as possible. Was provided with Pete & Jake's chassis which of course is not period, but it was terrific to build and a excellent, smooth driver. Car quickly traded off as a roller in a four-way trade only Mr Haney could work. I hope you enjoy watching - Best - CW
1969 Pontiac Ventura Being Restored
Take note, GM. 40 years from now, will people be taking the time and energy to restore CTS's, Lucernes and FWD Impalas to their original conditions? Doubtful.
Here's a jewel from your glorious past, being restored by Chicago mechanic Dave Armstrong. This '69 Ventura (a trim package on the Catalina in the 1960's) spent almost all of its life in Palm Springs. That brown coating you see on the rear undercarriage and differential isn't rust -- it's sand. When it's power-washed, it'll look as clean as the underside from the differential forward.
It's great to see the front end without the fenders, showing off that 428 V8, disc brakes and front suspension in all their glory.
As you can see, that's the original Harrison air conditioning unit. Black Morrokide upholstery and Pontiac 5-spoke mag wheels will complete the picture. It'll be another showpiece, just like his green Firebird 400.
Dave's also got a red Firebird Ram Air convertible. But that's another video;)
Kenny Pierson and his Pontiac Ventura II at the track
Took the old girl to the track to play around. . Pay no attention to the popping and cracking of the motor at about 4000 rpms. The motor let go. Won an award at the carshow there and had to be pulled around by my buddy in a golf cart. One of the screws on the rotor cap came out and locked up the distributer. Tore the teeth off my composite distributer gear. Quick fix-all better now. Car launched great and that would have been a 10 sec. run
