For you "red state" residents there's good news about the all-new 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe: It's bigger, bolder, more efficient, more luxurious, and more capable than ever! It's a confident expression of all that's right with America and the best full-size SUV ever built. No wonder the rest of the world really wants to live here.

We're driving a 2007 Cadillac Escalade, which means we've enjoyed a week's
worth of middle-aged office guys asking us about Nelly, Snoop and other
hip-hop artists they'd never listen to with the windows down. Yet they
wouldn't even crack a smile when we invited them to suit up in Fubu and
take a ride down the Sunset Strip.

Times, they are a-changing. As gas prices lurch upward, small SUVs and
crossovers are popping up everywhere. Five-door compact wagons,
traditionally huge sellers in Europe but dust-gatherers in U.S. showrooms,
now have their big chance.
Hybrid v Diesel Smackdown: Chevy Hybrid vs Mercedes Diesel
2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid vs. 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL320 CDI
No one's talking about it, but the 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid and 2008
Mercedes-Benz GL320 CDI are the two most fuel-efficient full-size SUVs on
the market. We guess that makes Paris Hilton, proud owner of a 2008 GMC
Yukon Hybrid, the hybrid Tahoe's twin, a forward-thinking early adopter at
the vanguard of the green car movement.
Truthfully, calling either of these SUVs "green" might border on an insult
to the color, not to mention the movement. These are still large,
comfortable vehicles with more torque than the average commuter needs and
more seats than most families will use, perfect for vacations but decadent
in daily life.
But these vehicles are more reasonable when you consider that the
four-wheel-drive 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid earns an EPA rating of 20 mpg
city/20 mpg highway, and the all-wheel-drive 2008 Mercedes-Benz GL320 CDI
rates 18 mpg city/24 mpg highway. This works out to a combined rating of 20
mpg for both SUVs — a big achievement for a full-size sport-utility.
When it comes to large sport-utilities, think of this as a practicality
test for hybrid and diesel. In other words, if you want to drive something
big without feeling bad, this is what it's all about.
2007 Ford Shelby GT First Drive by Edmunds' Inside Line
If there's one thing Ford has learned in recent months, it's the magic that
comes with combining the words "Mustang" and "Shelby." Throw in the
harsh reality that Ford needs all the magic it can conjure these days, and
you have the makings of yet another Shelby Mustang. Following closely (some
might say too closely) on the heels of the Shelby GT500 and Shelby GT-H,
this latest hot-rod pony is simply dubbed "Shelby GT" and is, for the most
part, a retail version of the GT-H rental car offered through select Hertz

2015 Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ - WR TV POV Test Drive
While we enjoyed our time in the all-new 2015 Cadillac Escalade, its that
luxury SUV's blue-collared, trailer-pulling cousin, the Chevrolet Tahoe
(and its long wheelbase variant, the Suburban), that will really steer the
course for this generation of GM's full sized sport utilities.
This week we get up close and behind the wheel of the all-new Tahoe LTZ.
Boasting a direct-injected 5.3-liter V8 that generates 355 horsepower and 383lb-ft of
torque, here in 4WD configuration the Tahoe has a rated towing capacity of
8400 pounds while maintaining a respectable fuel economy rating of 16 city
and 22 highway.
Featuring GM's Magnetic Ride Control suspension system, HID headlights and
a fully automatic locking rear differential, the best selling full size SUV
on the market continues to improve on an already successful platform. But
while facts and figures are great, seeing it in action is even better.
Wear headphones! Why? Because the audio in this video was recorded with

What Camerons Car Reviews has to say about the Tahoe: It used to be one of
the best selling segments in America in the 90's and early 2000's, the Full
Size SUV segment. However, with rising gas prices and a need for more fuel
efficient cars this segment has been forgotten especially with full size
crossovers snatching there sales due to there more practical package, For
2015 the Tahoe looks to get fully redesigned that was much needed to keep
on with technology and styling elements that other vehicles have today as
it was getting behind the times in those key areas. Under the hood you will
find the star of the show that is still convincing some people to buy a
full size SUV over a crossover which is a very promising 5.3 L V8 that's
extremely potent and hauls anything in the back without comprise with
delivering better fuel economy this time around. On the inside you will
find everything to be rich in materials and textures that was much needed
since you are spending a boat load of money. Also many new standard
features come this time around including a backup camera and bluetooth
streaming audio. Even the base trim LS feels quite luxurious inside with
nice stitching on the dashboard. Room inside is quite good and the second
row can even get luxury features such as Captains Chairs and heated seats.
The 2015 Tahoe is quite a good full size SUV and is for sure the best in
the segment right now when it comes to a all conquering body on frame SUV
with great towing capabilities, however take out the engine and the towing
capacity, other full size crossovers deserve consideration.
