2013 and 2014 Honda Accord 3.5L K&N Air Intake Installation
The K&N 69-1212TS performance air intake system was designed for 2013 and 2014 Honda Accord models with a 3.5L engine. http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?prod=69-1212TS This intake system created an estimated gain of 7.43 horsepower at 5,429 RPM and 8.62 lb. ft. of torque at 4,415 RPM when tested on the K&N dynamometer. See how easy it is to add more performance to your car with this air intake system. http://www.knfilters.com
2013 Accord V6 Coupe Takeda Short Ram Intake SRI
Installed this to get a little move aggressive note out of the car when I'm hitting it hard. No other mods on this car. Little to no change at normal driving rpm. Big difference when punching it. Quality is good, but I was pretty irritated when the vacuum line hose they gave me was too small as well as one of the hose clamps that goes on the actual intake (can see in the video). For $230, you would expect proper fitting parts... especially when those parts cost $.05 each. I went from 34-35 mpg on the highway to about 32 or 33. There should be no drop in mpg so if it is consistently down from my previous average mpg, I will go back to stock and sell this. Sounds good, though, and not annoying like the little douche bag ricers flying around in the hatch backs on 14's.
2008 Honda Accord V6 | Takeda Short Ram Intake before and after install
Here is a quick video showing the before and after effects of installing a Takeda Short Ram Intake on a 2008 Honda Accord V6. This mod was done on a coupe but it is also available for the sedan. There is not much of a noticable performance gain from this modification, but the sound of the intake makes this mod very worth while! It makes the car sound very aggressive when on the throttle hard but does not sound any different under normal driving conditions. Check out my other modifications in the video section of my channel. *** NOTE ***: The check engine light fixed itself after the computer relearned the new air flow.
