1969 Ford Taunus 20m RS P7b
My 1969 Taunus RS 2dr saloon.
A quick once around the block before she's put away for winter and
Carburettor has been converted to a 38/38 DGAS Weber and K&N 3" tall
pancake filter (engine rebuild and new parts fitted since photo of lump).
Engine retains original cam shaft to keep stock characteristics and
maintain torque lower done the rpm's. Head has been skimmed, all internals
replaced. Very small hone/overbore with new pistons rods shells etc. Inlet
manifold has been ported and polished and step down between Weber and
original Solex carb ground away and polished out.
Facet red top ticker fuel pump (now located to rear) and Filter King glass
filter and pressure gauge.
Luminition ignition with rev limiter.
Full stainless Exhaust, with just up
and over axel to be replaced next.....but keeping Cherry Bomb silencer! ;-)
She has just had the engine stripped down and fully rebuilt and has only
done around 300m since. Hence why I don't open the taps fully.......yet!
At around 2k i'll have her set up again, but at the moment she's a little
lean low end, and rich up top.

Newly imported Ford 20M XL 3000S from South Africa. It is a 1972 model and
have only done 96.000 kilometers. The car has a 3 gear automatic
transmission and the engine is a V6 3.0 liter (138Hp).
