Karmann-Ghia Coupe 2013 Concept by Renan Carlos Oliveira (2nd Place)
Projeto 2º colocado do Concurso Universitário Karmann-Ghia de Design. Feito por Renan Carlos Oliveira, da UEMG (Universidade do Estado de Minas Gerais) https://www.facebook.com/renandicarlo http://www.behance.net/renan_oliveira renandicarlo@gmail.com

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is temporary.

1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Restoration
This is a 1966 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia I recently did the finish body work and paint on. The sheetmetal replacement was performed by Kelly "Metwiz" Brown. Color is Porsche Guards Red. The car is going back to the owner for re-assembly. Music by The Wind-Ups.

Very Original 1960 VW Karmann Ghia for Sale
Visit http://www.sunsetclassics.com/1960-vw-karmann-ghia/ to see this fantastic original 1960 VW Karmann Ghia for sale by Sunset Classics in Minneapolis MN. This unique example has only 20k original miles and it still retains the original factory tires from 1960! The interior is original with the exception of new carpet, and the little Karmann Ghia still sports its original 36 hpr engine. Stepping into this Karmann Ghia is like stepping into a time machine. The ivory knobs and the ornamental chrome trim is straight out of the '50s (and 1960 of course). The "whirr" of the engine paints a smile on anyone's face who is lucky enough to hear it. You can be proud driving this beauty no matter what your destination. The paint is not original but the paprika red and white color scheme is. The floor pans look to be original and they are in good shape. At some point there was some body work done to the panels just before the rear wheels. The trunk is nice and the rear quarter panels look to be original and they are in great shape. As you can see from the photos there is some rust around the headlights and in front of the passenger side rear wheel. But the paint and car look great overall, and these areas could be touched up if desired. The story history of this cute little car is both interesting and extraordinary - check out the full story at the link above as well as detailed photo gallery and more video. Then give me a call to claim her for yourself. John Snell 612-805-2428 Thanks for watching - please drop a big 'ol thumbs up and a Like on this mighty cool original Ghia for sale. http://youtu.be/mrEnTCGnPeI
