A short video of my black precious! Originally it's a 9-5 2.0 LPT Trionic 7 with 150 HP but i Aeronized this beauty.
The exterior has been modded with MY2006 Aero sideskirts, Aero backlip spoiler, taillights with decorpanel and awesome looking 18x9's AEZ Excite Dark rims.
On the inside, Aero heated leather seats and steeringwheel has been fitted and the music is beeing delivered by a double DIN Pioneer AVH P4100 DVD with touchscreen.
As for the powerplant, i recently fitted a Mitsubischi turbo, 3 inch JT twin Exhaust with sportscatalyst, Forge Intercooler, Forge bypass valve, Abbott Racing delivery pipe, Abbott Racing intake pipe, K&N open air filter and custom made ECU setup by kawaman.
It produces 320 HP at this time but a 2.3 Trionic 5 is on its way to continue the sickness:)
2002 Saab 9-5 Aero Automatic 0-60 and 40-100 mph
My 02 9-5 aero automatic 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. 40-60 in about 2.5 seconds
60-90 in around 5 seconds and 60-100 in just under 7 seconds. Temperature
was 47F, full tank of gas and 210 pound passenger
Not bad for a 4,000 pound tank
car is ALL STOCK with STOCK ECU except for:
-Open air intake
-Muffler and resonator delte
-Forger Bypass Valve

Fixing Saab 9-5 Security System Problems -EricTheCarGuy

As I said in the video the owner brought me this car along with the
supposed fix. The symptoms were an intermittent no start and a message on
the dash indicating a security system problem. Apparently this is a common
problem with Saabs of this vintage and the problem is usually linked to
this siren/security module. Apparently the batteries go bad in the unit
causing it to act up intermittently. In this video I show the steps needed
to replace the module, it's actually a very easy job that does not require
a lot of tools. So if you have an issue with the security system on a Saab
of this vintage you might want to give this fix a try.
Here's the ebay store link to the company that rebuilds the modules.

A short video of my Saab accelerating after resetting the ECU due to a
It's a Saab 9-5 with a 2.0 LPT Trionic 7 engine (150 horsepower stock) which has
been modified and equipped with different parts of hardware/software and
has been aeronized to my own personal taste.
The original Garret GT1752 turbo has
been replaced by a Mitsubishi TD04-16 turbo and a 3 inch downpipe with racecat including
a 3 inch twin Exhaustpipe has been
installed to handle the Exhaust
For the airflow mods, a Forge aluminum Intercooler, Speedparts intake ( king
cobra ), Abbott Racing delivery pipe with Forge bypass valve and K&N open
airfilter have been mounted.
Siemens Deka injectors and a high power fuel pump are installed to provide
the engine with more fuel.
The car has been lowered with 45/30 mm H&R lowering springs.
For the modification and rewriting of the ECU, thank you Pieter and crew at
Special thanx to my buddy and homie Bjorn for getting this beauty up and
running in a perfect condition.
Saab 9-5 Aero ride along with custom exhaust. Straight Pipe.
This video is a ride along to show the sound of my Exhaust. I changed the muffler and resonator to
2.5 inch straight pipe and welded the stock tip back on. The sound recorded
kind of high pitched and annoying and didn't capture the low tones of it
very well. It sounds more like a small v8 in person.
I have an auto so I left it in 1st gear at low speeds to try and get up in
the revs a little. Leave your comments and questions.
Only mods are:
-Open air intake
Please see my other videos to see this car 0-60 and 40-100 mph (you can
hear the Exhaust from the inside

her driving pleasure even more exciting! Note! The engine sounds in this
video are real SoundRacer V12 and SAAB 9-5 Aero turbo BioPower, recorded by the video camera. No
sounds are added but some exterior clip are edited into interior recording,
actually, the SoundRacer sound is only heard inside the car, through the
car stereo speakers.
