TUNED visits BBi Autosport in Huntington Beach, CA to drive their new Porsche 997 turbo S. This unbelievable machine balances big power with low weight and suspension and brake upgrades to match. TUNED runs a quarter mile on a runway before heading into the canyons to see if BBi has really built a no-compromises ultimate street car for the track.

What does a 1500HP Porsche Turbo feel like?
Matt is handed the keys to the Evolution Motorsport "Mayhem" 997 turbo and offered a single pull down the runway.
This is what it's like to make that pull with zero practice.

"The Myth" of Panama's 900 HP Evo - /TUNED
It's the rainy season in Panama, and that means if we want to go fast,
we're gonna need some AWD performance. Fortunately, we've got the keys to
Race Lab's 900 HP Mitsubishi Evolution 7. Now if we can just find somewhere
to run it....
The Answer is Always Miata - /TUNED
Ask any car guy, what would make a good first car? Miata. What would make a
good weekend car? Miata. What would make a good tuner car? Miata. What
would be a good race car? Miata. What could I drive that Chris Harris won't
like? Miata. It seems the answer is always Miata. This week, CJ Wilson
Racing and Continental Tire invite us to Austin, TX to test two of their
best Miatas on the track.
This Electric E36 Makes 850 lb/ft of Torque at the Wheels! - /TUNED
EV West isn't like other electric car builders. They aren't trying to save
the planet from gasoline emissions, they are trying to build race cars
using electric technology for events that can best use that technology. The
Pikes Peak International Hillclimb, with a total driving distance of under
20 miles at very high elevation, is one of those events. We take their
Pike's Peak M3 to the Dyno to find out what 400
Kilowatts means in horsepower, then to see how
The 1,100 HP Switzer "Ultimate Street Edition" GTR - /TUNED
It wasn't long ago that driving a 1000+ horsepower car came with
many sacrifices. These were race or show cars, not to be used daily. Enter
the Switzer "Ultimate Street" GTR. On pump gas, it makes 1,000 horsepower with virtually no
downside. On race gas, it makes 1,100 horsepower. And the owner of
this particular GTR uses it as his daily driver to commute to work. Is
enough to get to the office? We'll find out.

Ryan Gates's 311RS - or - How to Make a Better Evo -- /TUNED
The Mitsubishi Evo X is a great performer for the enthusiast on a budget,
thanks to its very smart drivetrain. On top of that drivetrain sits an
utterly terrible tin can of a body and an interior that seems to come with
the chassis for free. Enter racer Ryan Gates. He's been competing in Evo's
for years, and decided that he wants to build a better Evo. So he's
improved just about everything on the car. We try to do a full test of it
at Monticello Motor Club, but it doesn't exactly go as planned. Is the
311RS the best Evo money can buy? We try to find out.
Group B Worship: Ford RS200 and Audi Sport Quattro - /CHRIS HARRIS ON CARS
To enter Group B in the 1980s, car makers had to build 200 road-going
examples of the car they intended to rally. These rules created some of the
most spectacular road cars of all time. I love rallying: the chance to
drive an RS200 and a Sport Quattro nearly sent me to the nut-house. Fire up

The 900 HP Heffner Twin Turbo Lamborghini LP-560 -- /TUNED
/Tuned goes to Sarasota to visit Heffner Performance, the first company to
ever build a twin-turbo kit for the
Lamborghini Gallardo. In a barely marked, unassuming suburban shop, Jason
Heffner turns out some of the tuning world's craziest creations. His
twin-turbo Lamborghini LP-560 seems so
right, however, that we feel it should be standard equipment from the
