So far he has gone to the ambulance. He should be okay, but looked like a rag doll. As of recently he has been sent to the hospital for a CT Scan as he did hit his head.
Funny Car runs over crew!
This video is of Funny Car owner Dale Harsins of Boise Idaho being ran over by his car at Woodburn Dragstrip at the 1st annual night of fire races in Woodburn Oregon on july 30th 2011.
If you watch the video frame by frame you will see the cars laft rear tire run over the crew member and the owner of the car is hit and dragged along till the driver gets car stopped.

Pro Mod Crash NHRA: Rickie Smith/Pete Farber
Rickie Smith gets loose at the finish line and has awful looking crash with Pete Farber during the second round of Pro Modified qualifying during the NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals. While Pete was able to walk away without injury, Rickie wasn't as lucky as he suffered a broken knee cap in the accident.

I was one of the lucky few who got one of the best filming and none crowded spots at the strip. I filmed it in the suites. It was very crazy and I cant wait till they do it again next year! The ground shook like crazy and it was very loud. All cars made it down the track fairly fast. Thanks Burton for such a spectacular expedition race.

Morgan Lucas driving the Geico/ Lucas nitro dragster & Steve Faria driving the System 1 car both suffered engine explosions on Saturday Night qualifying run on Oct 30th, 2010 at the Las Vegas Nationals. The view is from the 100 ft mark in the spectator stands... thanks to the track monitor for catching the rest.
