I try and explain it all the time. But its hard to convince people that Subaru's All Wheel Drive is not like any other all wheel drive. It is made differently - this is what Subaru's do. It is Velcro for the road. It is unfazed by 8 inches of solid ice and frozen snow plow leftovers blocking me in. I have gone where no other car can or would go. All the other Subaru owners know what Im talking about.
We had 26 inches of snow, and just had the (long) driveway plowed out. My wife needed to clear the car out for work. She was about to shovel it out.... :)
And thankfully when I told her I could just DRIVE it out, she ran and got a camera. Finally, some evidence to what Ive been trying to explain. Subarus are awesome.
