1971 Datsun 240Z Weber triples.mov

From a set of junk Webers, cleaned, mounted, and tuned (sort of)...pretty happy considering the "voodoo magic" reputation these have and the fact I have never worked with them before.

1976 datsun first start in over 20 years

2.8L Triple Webers
Just a little fun video. 1st part is during a cruise thru The Valley of Fire near Las Vegas, the 2nd part was shot to show the Exhaust sound and LACK of valve train noise...

Triple Weber DCOE's Launch
An old clip of my race prepped high compression L28, during testing with my 45mm DCOE's After a summer of tuning, I determined that my set of 40mm DCOE's were the best match, and the car was 3 tenths of a second quicker 0-60 with them.

Datsun 1600 L20B with Twin Webers
The Datto finally roars back into life with the new engine

Datsun 280Z - 3.1L Stroker Starts - New Jets
Here is a new video of the Z starting. I got the jetting worked out and the ITG's on. I took it for it's first successful drive tonight. That video will be up shortly.

Triple Weber Carbs, L26
These are triple side draft Weber carburetors on a Nissan L26 engine in my Datsun 260Z. DCOE-40's.

1973 Datsun 240Z, Bahrain
A little vid of my FairladyZ after installing the triple Mikuni Carbs 40phh. She is a 1973 240z with an L28, ported E88 head, Monza Headers, Shnider Cam, Custom Exhaust and MSD ignition. It's an ongoing project and more goodies on their way ;)

1970 Datsun 240Z/L28- 7000rpm in first three gears - triple Weber 40DCOEs
Watch for the surprise at the end (!)...didn't get pulled though. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjpmkfdnNvI for the same engine with SU carbs...which is a 1983 F54 L28 w/P90 turbo head, 10:1 compression, 15lb flywheel. The engines sound similar but the Webers have much more torque than the SUs, pull very hard in 1st and 2nd and easily to 7,000 in 3rd. I have a Centerforce 2 clutch now which make changing gears a tick slower compared to my earlier video however. The car is definitely faster through each gear with solid power to redline.

3.1L 240Z triple weber carb tuning (w/ new Stahl headers)
A collection of short clips / butt Dyno runs while tuning the triple Webers on my 3.1L 240Z. Open Exhaust. Unfortunately, I didn't have the benefit of an O2 sensor / AFR. All in all, I was pretty pleased with the final results, the new headers have really opened up the head's flow potential. Sounds good, too! :)

240z w/ skyline swap racing at fontana
Buddy racing his 240z with a 500+whp skyline swap. 10.8@113 with an engine explosion and fire at the end... Video with Canon 5d mark ii

untuned and unmuffled idle, 240Z 3.1 stroker
Quick demo of the new race headers (Stahl), at no point does the engine rev above 3k rpm (despite how it sounds at 1:25). Other coincident upgrades include titanium valve spring retainers, single valve springs (outer springs only) that the cam was profiled for, and a crank/damper/flywheel balance for 10,000 rpm. And yes, that's coolant on the ground during the idle portion. Evidently I didn't tighten one of the thermocouple housings all the way. Oops. Between moving and other logistical challenges, I barely had the time to get the new race motor installed and minimally operational before sticking it back in the trailer for 6 months of storage, after which the engine seized. :'(

1970 Datsun 240Z/L28- 7000rpm in first three gears
F54 L28 w/P90 turbo head, SU carbs, 10:1 compression, 15lb flywheel. Exhaust is a 6-1 header with 2 1/2" pipe...a Magnaflow XL #12616 on the rear. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VSYh69ea-x8 for the same run with triple Weber 40DCOEs.
