1971 Datsun 240Z Weber triples.mov

From a set of junk Webers, cleaned, mounted, and tuned (sort of)...pretty happy considering the "voodoo magic" reputation these have and the fact I have never worked with them before.

One Badass Datsun 240Z.
badass I6 car. ~320-360 30 grand was invested Believe it was bored out to a 2.6 instead of the 2.4 or a 2.8. 5 speed manual fun.

1972 Datsun 240Z Tampa Florida
Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is a super sporty 1972 Datsun 240Z. With a bored 2.8 liter inline six, this little import looks and drives more like an exotic. The engine has less than 20,000 miles on the build and consist of: Bored 2.8L block, with triple Weber carburetors, MSD ignition, header, and full custom ANSA Exhaust from custom header back. It's back by a 5-speed transmission with a Center Force clutch, which takes the horsepower and torque with no problem. The exterior is a eye catching shade of Ferrari red, accented by: Blacked out bumpers, projector style euro headlights, lowering springs, custom fender flares, and Ferrari style tail lights. The car's sleek and smooth lines are nothing short of sexy and the red and black color combo insinuate it, even more so. The interior has the sporty, race inspired look and feel of the stock Z cars, with black vinyl bucket seats. Options on this 240Z for sale include: A/C, cassette, power brakes, seat belts, vinyl interior, and aluminum/alloy wheels wrapped in raised white letter radial tires. This little cruiser is sharp and ready to hit the town, the beach, or the highway! To see more HD pictures and video please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. 1970 Datsun 240Z/L28- triple Weber 40DCOEs
Watch for the surprise at the end (!)...didn't get pulled though. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RjpmkfdnNvI for the same engine with SU carbs...which is a 1983 F54 L28 w/P90 turbo head, 10:1 compression, 15lb flywheel. The engines sound similar but the Webers have much more torque than the SUs, pull very hard in 1st and 2nd and easily to 7,000 in 3rd. I have a Centerforce 2 clutch now which make changing gears a tick slower compared to my earlier video however. The car is definitely faster through each gear with solid power to redline.
