Subaru Loyale Straight Pipe

The other day the muffler was busted up on a rock, so I cut it off and replaced it with pipe and a turndown. Sounds nice, and there is more high end torque.

300+ HP Subaru Loyale Wagon
A 1990 Subaru Loyale wagon with a tuned up EJ255 from a 2007 WRX. Drivetrain sourced from a Subaru XT. The bad part is that this engine was only in the car temporarily. It was soon installed into a much newer Subaru, which means no more videos. I really wish I had been able to get more footage! This car belonged to my Subaru enthusiast buddy, I film many different vehicles as well as my own.

[HD] '90 Subaru Loyale Shift Linkage Replacement
Sorry for the black screen at the end. Random rendering glitch, I assume. My shifter in my car used to suck. It was really hard to find fifth and reverse, first and second gear looked like third and fourth, and there was lots of play in the shifter when in gear. The answer? My shifter bushings were shot. I went to the junkyard and just took the entire shift linkage out of a car with good bushings. Definitely was worth it, since my shifter feels great now. 1990 Subaru Loyale EA82 D/R 5-speed

Poughkeepsie Gulch Trail - Subaru Forester Off Road
THE SHORT VERSION Yes, this is the short version of the footage. Moral of the story is "Clutch". Was trying to be delicate with it, but in the end, decided it was time for it to be replaced. We turned around on the trail about a mile from the end as my clutch couldn't take the loose scree, steep hills and the loss of power from altitude anymore. Subarus are Indestructible
My new videos will be posted on my new account; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXgw2GzS0s4 This 4wd Subaru gets some extreme abuse and still it runs. From being submerged to jumping and rolling this car takes it all and just keeps running. They don't make them like this anymore.
